Michelin mentioned, full service restaurant with a full bar and very informal vibe. The wine list is excellent, extensive, and by type and region. The Dry Aged Beef Is served on toast and is excellent. The Pastured Chicken is a half bird, cooked to perfection, and the garlic in the confit is translucent. The Lasagna is the lightest ever, full of very light flavors. Reservations include the bar. Street and parking lot available.

We had dinner at Rolf & Daughters during a recent trip to Nashville. We arrived on time for our reservation, but were told we would have to wait at the bar and order our drinks while we waited for our table to open up.

Our drinks included multiple glasses, so we stood with them sitting on the bar until our table was ready. The bartender passive-aggressively suggested that we should move so that other guests could approach the bar, even though there was no one else waiting and nowhere for us to put our drinks. His tone suggested we were being inconsiderate to the other guests by standing where we were told by the hostess to wait for our table – the whole exchange felt less than hospitable and was an off-putting start to our evening.

Once seated, our server was much more friendly and accommodating. She went over the menu with us and made excellent suggestions. Highlights included a dish with green tomato, fig, squash, and yuzu which was so light and refreshing. We also really enjoyed the infamous Sweet Corn Agnolotti, the Rigatoni, and the Bluefin Tuna.

The food was delicious, and a big highlight on our trip to Nashville. We will definitely be back whenever we’re in town to try whatever new seasonal wonders grace the menu.

Great atmosphere in this trendy modern Italian spot. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. The dishes were unique and beautiful. Some of them had a tendency to lose the main ingredient a little bit (the tuna and the beef tartare.) But the overall experience was good. A great drink selection, and unique specialty cocktails. Definitely a place I would suggest to others.

After seven years of living in the area, this was the best dining experience my husband and I have had in Nashville yet!

As a from-scratch mama at home, I appreciated the many intricate homemade pasta options. I am biased to my sour dough, but theirs was pretty tasty! The crab pasta dish I ordered was delicious. The grain berry dish that came with my husband’s meal was out of this world.

Our waitress (I believe her name was Abby) never missed a beat—always refilling our waters, explained the entire cocktail and dinner menu, and was so personable and sweet.

The tables are very close together, but they do have the music at a comfortable level where you don’t feel like everyone can hear your conversation. Lighting and decor is beautiful.

I adored the local artwork post card touch with the bill; can’t wait to send it to my grandmother 🙂

Great place, definitely a Nashville staple now. Really good food, good customer service and great cocktails. The espresso Martini is actually pretty tasty. Highly recommend reservations if you’re going to go here, especially on a weekend. Some of the tables are shared seating, so just be aware of that in advance. Definitely recommend!

My recent experience at Rolf and Daughters in Nashville was quite enjoyable overall. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere, and while I initially considered sitting on their outdoor patio, I ultimately chose to dine inside. The patio was appealing, but the flat benches without backrests didn’t seem ideal for a long, relaxing meal. I wanted to sit back and enjoy the evening, so the indoor seating was a better fit for me. Inside, we were seated at a long communal table next to other diners, which wasn’t an issue and actually added to the cozy and social vibe of the place.

The food was delicious, although I did find the four main courses to be a bit on the salty side. That said, the dishes were still enjoyable, and the flavors were well-crafted. The drinks were excellent, perfectly complementing the meal, and the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the dining experience.

We tried quite a few dishes, and as you can see from my photos, they were beautifully presented and full of flavor. Despite my minor critique about the salt level, I look forward to returning to Rolf and Daughters. It’s a place that offers a great blend of ambiance, food, and service, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Nashville.

Fantastic from start to finish. The opposite of hype, rather freshly crafted dishes that are made with care. The dry aged beef tartare was unlike any preparation I’ve had before and one of those dishes I will remember. Attentive and friendly staff made for a great experience.

Honestly, one of the best meals I’ve had in Nashville. The must-do is the pork chop though. Apparently, they exclusively work with a farm for this cut. Just do yourself a favor and get it.

Local here! First time trying out this restaurant after hearing about it constantly. My husband and I are big foodies and have tried some of the most hyped places in town. This place hands down was amazing and has topped a lot of experiences for us on all accounts. Not only was every menu unique, creative, and delicious but the service was the best I have experienced in the city (and we sat at the bar). Logan took the time to course out everything, kept our area extremely tidy, kept all drinks full, and made thoughtful recommendations. No detail was spared! The pricing is conservative for the level of service and food you get from start to finish.

1000/10! Menu rotates for new creations and we will certainly be back! Loved it all!

Unique food that will expand your tastes and open your mind to new experiences. The best mixed drinks around, too! We enjoyed eating and drinking at the bar, and the atmosphere felt so relaxing.
