Enjoyed a Philly Steak Omelette tonight with American Fries, and it was good. Generous portions, fast service and very filling. The fries were a nice change from the usual. Homemade slices potatoes in half circle wedges, some were fried a bit too little and some just right. The omelette was huge. Could have done with a few more herbs and spices to make it pop, but overall a great meal. Felt very homemade and delicious. The service is friendly and fast.
Next time I come here I’ll try a salad meal. The cobb salad sounds good. The atmosphere is clean, warm, cozy and perfect for families and big groups or single folk. The music is at the perfect volume to hear it and chat with folks without raising your voice. The seats are comfy booths and it’s very cozy. I like this place. It’s also a bonus that it’s family run and you can tell they care about the satisfaction of their customers. Great value too.

Im not sure why they charge more at this location then Cooley lakes location but $13.99 n $17.99 for the same item is crazy. This day of the pic green beans were soggy cabbage rolls were dry n the potatoes were ok.

We ordered cabbage rolls n chicken melt very good, only problem is one order was real mashed potatoes n next order wasn’t brown gravy on potatoes also but none first time. weird to put brown gravy with cabbage rolls. Very good though. Meatloaf I wouldn’t give my animals not sure what that is lol Cabbage rolls r $13.50 in restaurants but doordash $17.99 that’s not right. Soups r great. Fries by time we got them were oily n stuck together they definitely need to change oil. Just saying for $6 a order.

The food is delicious, and prices are great, but it seems they could use more waitresses, like everywhere else. Try the barbecue chicken salad! They do have the best variety of salads for very reasonable prices in Oakland county hands down. Just wish some of the waitresses were better. It seems they are very busy with carry out. Prices are very good for the generous portion sizes.

My review is on the very large, too large menu and I ordered the chili on Nov. 10, 2025 at 12pm. The chili was horrible! How can you mess up chili? I swear they turned spaghetti sauce into chili!!!!! My chili tasted like spaghetti sauce! It was very thin with hamburger. That was it. Smh. With a menu as large as the green apple one thing is for certain, NOTHING is fresh!! How could it be! When I see a menu as big as this one I run!! They need to cut it more than in half and do less food better or fresh!! Made to order! We won’t be back.

This place WAS great – not anymore. The prices have skyrocketed. A ‘standard’ breakfast has gone from $4.99 a plate to $8.99 – and that is weekday pricing! I understand inflation hits everyone but this place is now gouging customers and just greedy owners. There was nobody in the restaurant which is a stark contrast from 6 months ago. I will not be coming back. Save your money and eat powdered eggs elsewhere.

Can’t beat this place for a casual dinning experience. If you are in the area make a trip here. It’s tottaly worth it. Large back room you can have party’s in. Salads and breakfast are just two of my favorite things they offer. Huge menu where everything is delicious and prices are some of the best in the area. Tried the chicken strips and loved them.

Do not recommend this place it used to be good now it is not, I got the meatloaf dinner I don’t know how they can call that Meatloaf it was terrible, it was like hockey pucks cut up in slices of lunch meat or thick bologna slices, if I didn’t live so far away I would have took it back and I’ve never had to do that at a restaurant that’s how bad it was, you could stick your fork in the corner of it and lift the whole thing up in the air and it would not break apart, 98% sure it was microwaved cooked, the green beans had no season in them , I guess the best part was the gravy on the potatoes and the bread, the soup was decent, I was very disappointed I used to love this place
