The tacos had double Tortilla. I was filled with 3, but they were so good l ait the other 2…. The lemonade could have been better. Still, the food was so good. I will definitely come back.

Tucked away in the corner of a strip center, El Regio is the kind of place you’re glad you stumbled upon. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a classic Mexican restaurant—warm, inviting, and relaxed. It wasn’t too busy during our visit, which made for a peaceful dining experience.
The service was excellent. The waitstaff were genuinely kind, attentive without hovering, and happy to answer any questions. Right from the start, the complimentary green and red sauces set the tone—both are bursting with flavor, the kind you just want to keep dipping chips into.
For drinks, we went with their sweet tea, which just might be the sweetest tea in all of Texas, and a couple of beers—cheap, cold, and refreshing.
For the main course, we tried the chicken fajita enchiladas and beef fajita enchiladas. Both were fantastic. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the sauce (or gravy, as some call it) hit that perfect Tex-Mex note—rich, savory, and comforting. The lettuce and tomatoes on the side were crisp and fresh, and the Mexican rice and beans were equally delicious, rounding out the plates beautifully.
El Regio is the kind of spot that quietly delivers everything you want in a Tex-Mex meal—great flavors, great service, and a comfortable setting. If you’re nearby, it’s well worth a visit.

Food was okay, not hot but came out quick which leads me to believe it’s not made fresh. The servers seemed nervous and shy and only approached the table when called. Nothing bad but not very memorable.

This was my first time here, I’m in town for work and I wanted some street tacos. The menu at El Regio is packed with amazing food, everything looked delicious. I stuck to my tacos though and got Pastor, Barbacoa, Camaron, and Lengua. They were amazingly delicious and much larger than you would expect from street tacos! I went with the corn tortillas and they were incredible soft, but didn’t fall apart. I’ll be coming back to try everything else on the menu!
I went back like I mentioned in the previous post! Got the molé, and holy molé was it delicious!!! Service was amazing as usual.

First time: The shrimp cocktail sauce was very thick. The shrimp was fresh but too spicy. Price of it was not worth $18 and the menu said $11.99. I usually go to another restaurant across the street but they were closed, the prices are better and bigger portions. The taco meat was so soft. They took a long time to get my food. Another customer came paid and was so upset because he said he put a phone order 30 minutes ago and could not believe his food was still not ready. He paid and still had to wait.
I will go back to give it another try but dine in. Hopefully it will be a better experience.

This was my first time coming here and I hate that it took me so long. I live right down the street! I was surprised by how big the restaurant is based on the front of it. We were told to sit anywhere we wanted which was cool. Our server was a very sweet young lady. Our appetizer, which had a few different items to sample, was so good. The flautas were crunchy and the beef fajita nachos were so flavorful. Our food came out quickly and was hot and so delicious! The charro beans really stood out to me. Some of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back and try other items in the menu. I’d definitely recommend this place to others!

The seafood was fresh fresh. The shrimp were massive and tasted so good. “Chilli lime sauce” i could brush my teeth with every day it’s so good. And to finish it off, i INHALED their Tres Leches dessert with 5 bites.

This place is a decent stop. I had the fried fish filet with side salad , rice and fries . The fish was a little mushy not a firm fish. The seasoning was lacking , I added salt and it helped . The fries were way undercooked and greasy . The rice was above average with a lot of flavor . We had a few beers and watched the soccer game on a Saturday afternoon. I think this place as good potential . They have a nice bar area but I think they are leaving money on the table. They should have a bar menu alone with drink specials to get more locals in the neighborhood in.

Food was really good, authentic, and quick to arrive (food arrival 10-15 mins, went around 10pm, didn’t feel pressured to leave as they close at 11pm.) Service was on the average side, but the restaurant was pretty clean and organized. Spacious as well, definitely recommend and would go again.
