I’ve had positive experiences at several other Cupbop locations, but unfortunately this one has consistently fallen short. The service has felt disorganized and slow, and the overall experience hasn’t been very welcoming. The food quality also doesn’t seem to match that of other locations, which has left me disappointed. I went tonight and was disappointed when my food was made with significantly too much sauce, barely any noodles and rice. They also did not give us sauce for the mandoo. Overall very poor experience.

Amazing location close to the mountain and above the smog of SLC. Great workers, they were busy and still served everyone quickly. I chose to eat-in, no one bothered me. They were very helpful when I had questions. Thanks!

Always out of meats, and the wait is TWICE as long as any other location.
But more frustrating than that is that after waiting almost 20 minutes — I got the hunk of chicken shown in the picture tossed into all three of the cupbops I ordered … clearly they did not care, and I immediately regretted leaving a 15% tip.
Also got my order wrong!?! I want a refund, this is absolutely bonkers!!!
BTW — I am leaving out the worst thing about this visit because it involves a disabled customer I don’t want to embarrass. Management should contact me about this shift, I know it’s a tough job, but they need some retraining because the place was packed and NOBODY was having a good experience!

I’m trying to understand why they would only staff one person during lunch rush. The young person working seemed to have to have everything on their plate and you could tell it was very overwhelming. I hope management can see this and add some more staffing. Props to the person working doing it all!

Food is likely enjoyable if you haven’t had Korean food before, or prefer street food style over a sit down Korean meal. It hits the Korean food spot for sure! but Korean food lovers will need to check expectations as items (e.g. japchae) are made with the bare minimum ingredients.
