This was our first time at Famous Dave’s and I’m so glad we came. Our waitress Amy was amazing! We started off with the cheese curds and burnt ends for appetizers. Both very flavorful. Instead of ordering individual dishes, we got the all American platter (feeds 4-6) since there was 4 of us and yes we brought home leftovers! It came with cornbread muffins, little ears of corn,french fries, coleslaw, baked beans, ribs, a whole roasted chicken and brisket. The ribs and the coleslaw were probably the best parts of the meal. The chicken was delicious and the brisket was juicy. The corn on the cob did seem a little over cooked but I’m not complaining. Over all I would definitely recommend this place.

Service & Food = Fair. Food came out immediately, and it was delicious (5 stars!); however, the fewer stars are for the upcharges for ordering meat [ 3 meat combo x 3 surcharges (????!!!!) ] .
Service would have been 5 stars except the server displaced my table to 2nd behind a couple who came in and were seated afterward. Maybe they were in a hurry and quicker at ordering. Who knows. I wasn’t in a hurry; and, no less, I notice(d) everything. That’s what I get paid to do, and it’s hard to shut that off during R & R: Quality improvement is valued, and I notice when it’s amiss.
Left a 30%+ tip in spite of the filthy table cloth edging along the tabletop wall. Apparently, this food surface is never cleaned out at the edge or behind the napkins and condiments. Gross. The actual food was excellent, but I was told there’d be 6 ribs, not 4: I didn’t fault the server for not knowing this perfectly. However, what I find most unsatisfactory is going out to a restaurant for meat, and there’s $4.50 total surcharge for it! To me, it makes no sense. For this reason (and uncovering filth covered by a table cloth in an eating establishment), I’ll not be a repeat customer in spite of the food tasting good; adequate portions. Mine is a robust, well-rounded review that includes more than just the food because eating out is an entire experience that is impacted by all these variables. I felt my tip was too high and do prefer tipping generously; although, this time, being a generous tipper felt like an all-around stretch beyond my normal comfort level! What do ya do. I like to drop favorable reviews however sometimes a harsh review may get their attention for corporate to consider some continuous process improvements. Just saying.

Food is phenomenal, always is always has been. Service was exceptional, everyone was very kind and friendly and eager to help. The manager is very professional and kind. The atmosphere and vibe in the building is always very comforting and relaxed, a great place for everything from family get togethers to casual business meetings. Famous Dave’s is my go to spot and always over exceeds every expectation.

Waitress was on point. I ate in a lot of restaurants all over the country so far . She’s in the top ten for sure. I believe that her name is Millissa. I had the 3 meat. Brisket pulled Gerogia pork and ribs. Brisket was a little over done for me but overall very good. I can tell that it is real BBQ. They don’t start it on a pit and then finish it a oven. That’s not here! True BBQ. Yes the bread pudding is to die for. I told my wife that it was probably the best bread pudding that i have ever had ! ! !

Never have eaten here before, ordered some ribs. They say award winning online so I was excited, it’s expensive, treating me and my partner for a rare date night.
I basically was handed just bones. Still ate them cuz we got them to go and already were home and had the kids to bed so couldn’t go back. I included two photos of 2/12 of the ribs we got, I took this at the end of eating because I was stewing the entire time eating thinking “gosh I can’t believe I spent so much money on this” but most of them were that skinny.
50+ bucks, and it was mediocre at best. Sucks, I’ve always heard good things about this place! My first time definitely is not good.

Outstanding food! Great service! Friendly staff! Highly recommend! Large group and they got most everything right! Ran out of corn bread! 20-30 minutes later we got hot fresh corn bread!

Grabbed lunch here with our family and ordered the Famous Feasts – Feast for 2 and a cup of chili. Food was delicious as expected and the staff was friendly and attentive. Even though we sat in self serve, staff brought our order to the table and cleaned up as well as we finished up. Would definitely dine here again.
