Ordered through kiosk, Juicy, flavorful burgers, especially the turkey burger was one of the best. Juicy, flavorful with a hint of spiciness for me. The crunchiness bacon added to the flavorful cheese burgers make much better.
Their fries aren’t crispy, it was soft, but not oily with the texture like a baked potato taste.
Service: the workers were all fine though I can’t say I interacted with any of them because you order off big screens. I also didn’t see a way that they would take cash. I hate the big screens.
The atmosphere is navy pier and we were there on Fourth of July weekend, so it was extremely busy, loud, and overcrowded. The atmosphere seems decently clean and it has a cafeteria vibe to it. On the non-holidays it’s more chill.
Great service and the dogs came out exactly as expected. Solid bun to dog to toppings ratio that brought out the flavors of each part without being overpowering.
If you’re out on the pier and looking for something quick to eat give this place a try, its delicious!
We ordered at the kiosk, both my SIL and I choosing bacon cheeseburgers, no bun, her: cheddar cheese, mustard and pickles; me: swiss cheese, mustard and tomatoes. One of the guys behind the counter asked if we made a mistake with the no buns, I confirmed that we did not and he accepted that. When we were called for our food it was HOT, smelled good (bacon!) and looked good. My SIL took her first bite and made a strange face, took her second bite and that was it. She swears the burger was sour. I took my first few bites and noticed a sour note but mine tasted like it was the cheese that was sour. Honestly, they were just very disappointing burgers. Small, watery and not cooked with that burger char. I wonder if the buns mask the flavor…
The place was ridiculously crowded — on a Saturday evening, you’re lucky if you can find a seat. If you’re not as lazy and tired as I was, do yourself a favor: skip the pier area and hunt down some real food. Otherwise, you might as well just stick with McDonald’s.
