Best “hidden in plain sight” pizza spot in Newport.
This little to go joint looks totally out of place on the strip, in the best way. It’s got that big city order at the counter type of vibe except the staff is actually friendly, and the service is quick. The pizza? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfect crispy crust, loads of cheese, and just the right amount of good greasy. Nothing fancy…just damn good pizza. We grabbed ours and ate it down the street, and somehow the whole experience just hit different. A true gem.

Solid pizza, nothing too crazy but nonetheless very tasty. Good cheese to sauce ratio. Honestly the lunch special is unbeatable, 2 slices (pep or cheese) and a drink for $8!

Honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life! The crust has a nice crispy texture with a little bit of a sour tang.
The sauce is a perfect blend of sweetness and herbs.
The pro move is to get meatball, mushroom and basil…so good!

Found LaValentina’s Big Cheese on Facebook, Glad we did. The pizza reminded me of the tast of pizza back east and the cheese is better than most california pizzas. The antipasta salad was generous proportions of meat and cheese. This will be our go-to place for to-go Italian food.

I truly have no idea how this place is rated so highly. Save your money and go get Little Caesar’s for the same quality or walk a block down to Mama D’s.
Our “wings” were unsauced. We asked for medium and the sauce we were given was just Franks Red Hot.
We ordered a large pizza. I don’t know who decided their size but our large is a medium at best at any other pizza restaurant (see picture, for reference I’m a short guy). Pizza was ok at best.
Also didn’t get any peppers, cheese, or napkins. This place clearly survives off of tourists.

I had their cheese pizza slice just $4 , it was a huge slice of heaven and taste was soo good! I’ve also tried their penne pasta, it was ma-ma-mia væry tasty overall i would give this place 5 out of 5 stars for food, portion, taste and their excellent customer service at the counter, always smiling and cheerful staff. We always cruised past this spot but avoided it because of the parking hassle. Last night around 10 PM, we took the plunge—parking wasn’t too bad—and oh wow… this might just be the best pizza we’ve tasted in the U.S.! We grabbed a large pepperoni for $26, and the two guys at the window gave top-notch customer service.
Heads-up: there are no tables to chill and eat, so it’s a grab-and-go kinda vibe. But if you’re in the area and craving pizza, this place will not disappoint. Cheers to late-night cheesy heaven!

First time trying and I want to say it exceeded my expectations 🙂 cheese was so good it slided right off cartoon style. Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and it was good for two people 🙂 Crust was also crisp and crunchy just the right balance better than average crust. Employees were kind and offered parmesan, pepper, and utensils! Superb service delicious pizza couldn’t ask for a better experience 🙂 thank you keep up the good work ✨ps they are one of the very few places open past 10pm in the area!

I’ve been coming to this place for close to 30 years. Today was my first visit since the pandemic. I am so glad that they are still in business. The slices are still as tasty as I remember. I don’t know what it is that makes the taste unique compared to other pizzas, but whatever it is, it rocks!!
