Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Tam was a delight taking my order/payment, as was Nasir bringing out my order. We didn’t receive straws in our bag but Nasir was apologetic and quickly returned with some. Tam was so funny and an overall delight! I hope she’s always there when I comeback! Our order was correct and the food was delicious! Nothing like a good burger!

On Friday 03/06/2026 the crowd was heavy but customer service was excellent and if quality. The food was great Bricen served each and every customer with a smile and consistency. The place was calm on Sunday 03/08/2026 and again the service was great manager on duty went above and beyond to bring great service. It’s welcoming to have one here in Covington.

Just left the restaurant and they reminded me why I don’t care for Whataburger. The staff seemed clueless in the front with no one manning the front counter leaving folks waiting for service. There was someone who had been waiting in the car for 15 mins because they were supposed to have brought them a coke zero and no one went back out. During our 20 mins in the restaurant between ordering and leaving out with our food, they refunded at least 3 separate customers. The staff didn’t have attitudes, but none of them look like they cared to be there and they moved with that same sense of urgency.
Don’t bother customizing anything because they dont read the order inputs AT ALL. Of the 4 sandwiches that we customized, they didn’t add or subtract a single thing that we customized. If we weren’t on a road trip and already down the way when we figured out they didn’t bother with our sandwiches, I would’ve went back and got every bit of the $50 we spent on the food we had. For example, I ordered the buffalo ranch chicken tender sandwich. I asked for NO buffalo sauce, add mayo, lettuce, and pickles. I got the sandwich with buffalo sauce, no mayo, no lettuce, no pickles.
It’s a Sunday and I would have had better luck getting my order right (and hotter) at the Chick-fil-A 2 stores over.
The only positive is that the restaurant is clearly new and therefore clean by default.

Hey man, on a Saturday afternoon around 3:00. Restrooms are super clean. Restaurant was clean, staff were going around checking on everyone and clearing tables for any debris and trash.
Absolutely wonderful atmosphere.
Paige was fantastic taking our order and ensuring all of our add-ons were included- super customer service. Happy they have one this far out on 20 outside of Atlanta.

Food was ok, definitely salty and over seasoned. The customer service was lackluster. I’m not sure what’s going on with the staff but they don’t seem to be organized. Seems to be ran by a bunch of teens who don’t want to work.

I’m a regular at this establishment. I come here about 2-3 times a week. Every time I enter I’m always greeted warmly. Today I wasn’t feeling the best. The young woman named Tam helped me. Her energy was amazing! I left feeling a lot better than when I walked out. Little things like that matter to ME!

First visit to a Whataburger. Great experience. The burgers were great and didn’t fall apart. Dr Pepper shake was pretty good. Very friendly staff. Beyond obliging. Clean restaurant and parking lot. Lots of space.

I spent 20+ mins waiting on a simple order and a side of fries. This store is in need of a better night manager because the young employees present had no sense of what was going on. For it not being terribly busy at 2AM, I’m not sure why I was waiting forever.

Order was incorrect for burgers. Took over 15 minutes to remake correct order. I asked for sauce for onion rings and was told it was be an extra charge. Lemonade and other “homemade” drinks were shown but was told they are not ready. A few minutes passed and I asked when they would be ready and I was told they have been down for days and not sure when they will be available again. Not very friendly.
