We’ve been here for Thanksgiving because it was the only thing working in the area. Waitress was absolutely lovely and funny, food was great, and they gave us 8 different sauces with our tenders, all of them were very good.
Smoking is allowed inside which is interesting and brings me back in time haha.
Atmosphere is very nice, overall absolutely great experience!

The ONLY spot I stop for lunch when I’m in town for work. 3-4 days a week, 4-6 weeks a year. The atmosphere is awesome, the people are great, food and drinks is AMAZING. The buffalo tenders are a must try, the daily specials are never a disappointment. Emily behind the bar is great! Very personable, fast with her service and makes great drinks! I look forward to eating here every time I’m out this way.

Love this place for lunch and happy hours. It has a “Cheers” vibe to it, the bartenders and servers are amazing. The food is highly underrated.. 10/10 and the bourbon mayo is clearly a staple. They do allow smoking in the restaurant, but if you don’t like that like me you can eat downstairs. It’s cozy and smoke free! Definitely a regular!

Bardog absolutely nailed it. The service was on point from the moment we walked in. Tim was a rockstar easily one of the best servers/bartenders I’ve had anywhere, and he made the whole experience feel effortless. The owner was out chatting with customers, super friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about the place.
Food? Ridiculously good. And listen… do yourself a favor and ORDER THE CRÈME BRÛLÉE. Life-changing. You’ll thank me later.

We were just in Memphis for 5 days on vacation, Bardog. Tavern was right around the corner from our hotel and we used it as our base of operations. The staff was exceptional. The food consistently good. And the drinks were always right. We enjoyed knowing that this is some place we could always go to and be comfortable. The patrons were always pleasant and fun to talk to. I’m so glad that we found this place as it made our time in Memphis, comfortable and easy. We will definitely come back when we’re in Memphis again and say hi to our friends at Bar dog. What a great experience.
