The Friendly Tap is hands down the most welcoming and hospitable bar around. Every visit feels like coming home, thanks to the incredible bartenders, staff, and fellow patrons who create such a warm and inviting atmosphere. A special shoutout to Ashley, the bartender- she’s absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel at ease. I can’t recommend this place enough!!!

I’ve been going here since I was 21 and I’m nearly 40 years old now. The young blonde bartender tonight mistook my girlfriend for a former patron who must’ve drunkenly vomited on the premises after eating a pizza. Not only is my girlfriend’s name not “Amanda”, but I’ve never ordered food here a day in my life. I’m a MASSIVE tipper and loyal customer but tonight changed everything when she embarrassed my girlfriend in front of everyone, claiming this situation involved her and she refused service. I’m extremely disappointed tonight. Wildly unprofessional and clearly she has clouded memory for “whatever reason.” Given the local clientele, I’ll be tactful and leave that up to the imagination.

No food but some dudes playing darts creeped the wife out waiting for the bathroom. And I’m used to “biker bars” also place cash only which is what the clubs I’m familiar with do but this isn’t a private club.

Friendly Tap has the perfect name. It has a wonderful old school ambience sort of like a hippie ambience! Sporting a jukebox with great music! The bartenders always friendly and personable. Though I have not eaten there I did see them serve food.

*Down sides: they have dogs and cat in there and it smells like it. Not a pleasant smell at all. Im high allergic so i cant go in there anymore, and I was sitting at a machine which was directly in front of the mens bathroom and it stayed open the whole time while men were going in and out of it. It didn’t smell very good so I went to another machine but was disappointed I had to move when I was doing good.
They should make the men’s bathroom in the back and woman’s in the front for sure. Something the owner should think about with the pungent smell coming from the guys bathroom

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this joint and the ceiling were vaulted…it’s really a cool little space! Also, if I remember correctly the bathrooms are updated and well maintained—that’s a huge plus. Kudos to the owners for that.
This is your typical local bar, and most the regulars will look at you when you walk in because you’re not a regular, but they’re nice hardworking people. Be prepared to listen to classic rock, which is A-OK with me and brings back fond memories of my father and his friends hanging out in the garage.
Cash only! Reason for 4 stars. Judy, it’s 2018, you need to start accepting plastic. 🙂

If you’re looking for a cozy atmosphere, and where to enjoy a great drink or beer, this is the place to be… terrific good ole’ American hamburger, cooked to perfection. And the bartender is amazing.
