Quaint yet busy Irish pub restaurant that my friend and I stopped by before going to a Cavs game. The drink menu is vast and fairly priced, and the food is a decent mix of classic American Gastropub with some Irish/British Isles flourishes.

I got a chicken sandwich that was good overall, and was fairly priced for the amount of food. I was especially pleased with the service, from the very friendly bartender who also took our order, to the woman driving the shuttle bus that picked us up halfway to the arena when we decided to walk. They were all very busy with weekend traffic, but were still super helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful experience at The Flat Iron Cafe in the Flats. We just visited the Cleveland Aquarium and were looking for some place close to eat. It was less than a 5 minute walk to The Flat Iron Cafe. My husband ordered a cheesesteak sandwich and I had a panini style sandwich and they were both great! The service was excellent at the atmosphere is very inviting! We will be back!

Mango habanero wings were delicious. Wings were meaty. Burger was up there, “best eaten in awhile”. The shepherd’s pie had flavor. I think there is some room for improvement on it though. It came piping hot & the garlic broccoli was good.

Fried pickles were great. French onion soup was ok. The wings were perfectly breaded and fried, just a shame they came out on thecool side.

If you are in the area you have to stop in. Amazing staff and environment, food is next level. If you love the Irish staples than you’ll love this place, why visit Ireland itself when you can just come on in to Flat Iron Cafe. Get the bangers and mash, it won’t let you down!

We were at an event using the upstairs space. Despite the fact they had the events time wrong they got it together. The food was great! Loved the meatballs. It was just “bar food” but it was good. Bar service was friendly and quick.

Dear Flat Iron Café Team,
I want to extend a heartfelt thank-you for providing such a fantastic place to host our party. Everything was absolutely perfect.

From planning the event and the ease of reserving the space and ordering the quality food and such, to the actual day of the party!

David and Jen were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire event. We truly appreciated how smoothly everything was handled—from clearing and cleaning as we went along to keeping the space looking great the whole time. As a bartender, David was excellent as well, with no wait time and friendly, efficient service. Jen and David both made sure fresh food was out throughout the evening, and everything was done without me ever having to ask for it!

The facility was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and it really made the event special. I would highly recommend the Flat Iron Café to anyone looking for a great place to host a party. You all made it a wonderful experience!

Thank you again for everything!

Wings: 9 of 10 only because I would have liked a little more sauce on it. 75 cent wings on Wednesday nights not sure if that is every Wednesday as I had never been before. Those wings are big and meaty!

French Dip sandwich: off the charts dunked in the au jus sauce! Lots of meat bread is toasted perfectly so that when you dip it in the sauce it soaks up all that juicy amazing au jus and doesn’t get soggy.

The onion rings are huge! Good breading but it soaks up a lot of oil and is the reason I didn’t give the food 5 stars. They tasted good but like I mentioned just very oily.

The bartender was very nice and friendly she didn’t steer me wrong with the wings.

Atmosphere: was nice there were some locals at the bar whom seem to go there often and I had a pleasant conversation with them. Lots of couples and friends having dinner there.

Guys stop on by this pub and enjoy a cold drink, great food and good service!!

Nice spot to have a Guinness and watch a game. Bartender was super nice. We didn’t have any food, but the fish and chips that the folks next to us ate looked pretty good. Great local spot (even with not being locals!)
