delicious? I don’t recommend to eat there!
I placed a DoorDash order from a restaurant listed as The Great Indian Kitchen using this address and phone number. The food (Chicken Biryani) had a strong rotten smell and appeared spoiled, so I did not consume it.
While investigating further, I found that this same address and the same phone number are also listed on Google Maps under Aroma Indian Restaurant West Palm Beach. This suggests that the same kitchen may be operating under multiple restaurant names.
When I contacted the restaurant about the spoiled food, the concern was dismissed instead of addressed.
Posting this review for transparency and public safety. Authorities should verify food handling practices, licensing, and the use of multiple restaurant identities at this location.
I didn’t even know we had an Indian buffet in West Palm Beach, so I was happy to discover Aroma. The food was good overall—though to be completely honest, I think the guys could work on it a little to make it even better. That said, everything was generally good. Service was quick, and the staff were very friendly, which made the experience enjoyable. I’ll definitely come back again and look forward to seeing how they continue to improve.
You can see the quantity of the paneer Kali mirch from the picture, which I felt is very less. When asked I was told this the quantity everyone gets.
Unfortunately, the service really hurt the experience. The server was noticeably rude from the start. They never once smiled, greeted us warmly, or said “you’re welcome” at any point. It genuinely felt like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. They rarely checked on us, didn’t clear away our empty plates, and left dirty dishes sitting on the table for a long time, which made the dining experience uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, they placed a bottled water on our table without explaining that it wasn’t complimentary, and we later found out we were charged $5 for it. There was no communication, no friendliness, and overall the interaction felt cold and dismissive.
We would like to come back because the food has potential, but honestly only if we don’t have to deal with that same server again.
Service was so bad. And
I went there the first time and I actually wrote a good review about them at first because I felt the food was good. This was my second time going and it’s because of the service and the buffet variety and very less vegetarian options there, that I say the restaurant is bad overall. We went there at 11:30 and they said to wait for 10 mins for the buffet to setup(as nobody comes for a buffet there, didn’t know). After 25 mins went there back and asked again and they said to wait another 5 mins. After looking at the buffet options which they were setting up, I ended up going away from there dissatisfied. I called them later and they defended themselves by saying that buffet opens at noon, which I didn’t see anywhere written.
Completely dissatisfied with the place. For ala carte it was good food but definitely not recommend for the buffet.
PS: for the 40 mins that we were there, nobody even came to ask for water. Waiters were talking on the phone and not caring about the single customer that they had.
I’m writing this review here because The Great Indian Kitchen shows the same pickup address as Aroma Indian Restaurant on DoorDash—indicating it’s a virtual brand operating from the same kitchen.
I’ve ordered several times, and here’s my experience with specific items:
• Chicken Tikka Naan ($6.99) 3/10
This was a sad, soggy naan with barely any filling—there was hardly even a tablespoon of chicken inside. After taking 3–4 bites, I had to remind myself it was supposed to be stuffed naan. It was also burnt on the edges. Highly disappointing.
• Gulab Jamun ($2.99)10/10
The quantity varies—sometimes you get 3 pieces, other times 4—but they’re consistently delicious. Delivered in a plastic box with sugar syrup, the gulab jamuns were soft, sweet, and infused with a nice hint of cardamom. A satisfying dessert overall.
• Chicken Fried Rice ($16.99)10/10
Surprisingly good. The portion size was generous, and the ingredients were fresh—crispy vegetables and tender chicken. It had that authentic Desi-Chinese flavor, with just the right amount of black pepper and soy sauce. I’d definitely order this again. I have ordered this dish multiple times.
• Chole Bhature ($15.00) 6.5/10
This was underwhelming. Only one bhatura was provided, and it was thick and undercooked around the edges. The chole were leaking in the container, and the overall presentation and flavor didn’t live up to expectations.
• Nihari 2/10
This was the biggest letdown. What was supposed to be Nihari tasted more like a sweet Qorma—completely off in terms of flavor and authenticity. I wouldn’t recommend this dish at all. It was stale and coloured chicken as if tikka pieces are washed n used in qorma curry.

Final Thoughts:
Some items are genuinely good, like the Chicken Fried Rice and Gulab Jamun, while others fall far below expectations, especially the Nihari and Chole Bhature. If you’re craving Desi-Chinese or snacks, this place might work, but for traditional Pakistani mains like Nihari, I’d look elsewhere.
