Do go here if you love being asked to “pull ahead and wait some more!
Good service won’t happen for 30% of you, summer or winter from the other reviews.
It’s negative temps, they would rather send their employees outside to deliver your food to your vehicle after losing 8 cars they’ve “pulled ahead”. So if ya just wanted a quick coffee in the drive thru, forget it! You’ll wait an additional 15 minutes and watch some employees walking around in the cold trying to find you.
Then if you are crazy enough to think any managers give an dang about your complaints they are just going to smirk and give you hollow apologies. Turn their back and walk away cuz they are so chronically used to getting complained to by customers.
The fact that they are being told to pull people ahead and hold them hostage to their order while waiting is ridiculous. That pissed me off being told to pull ahead for a coffee beverage. Then 15 minutes later I went inside. If I wanted to get out of my car and go inside I wouldn’t have ordered to pick up in the drive thru!
Everyone hates being asked to pull ahead unless it’s a wait for fresh chicken fried.
But 15 additional minutes for coffee is ridiculous! And to send employees outside into the absolute frigid conditions is bananas! Literally it’s warmer in the Antarctic today than it is here in Fargo.
And then to not even be offered a free coffee for my next visit and asked for a second try in the hopes that their performance will be better next time is absolutely dismissive of a completely legitimate complaint. (Appears this location has numerous of this same or similar complaint)
I will not be back to this location. I’m pretty sure it is my first time to this location and I have my favorite McDs in North Fargo and they have NEVER made a customer wait 15 for coffee even when they ran out and had to brew fresh quickly it was four minutes tops. And they were nice and they’d give you a free coffee for the long wait. Not this location in South Fargo.
Think you’ll save time ordering in the app… not at this location.
This location makes you pull ahead and uses the excuse that if they didn’t pull you ahead the next guy behind you will be mad cuz they had to wait longer. How long does coffee take?
It takes at this location:
15minutes and one swift get out of our way we don’t care if you ever come back we got other people to pretend disappoint behind you and now they are gonna be mad cuz you took two minutes of the manager’s time.
Basically they just expect to piss off or let down about 30% of their customers daily. And they couldn’t care less cuz they have a busy location. They don’t need your money, repeat business or your concerns. They are ready to let down more customers right behind you and smile while they do it.
Oh and even the drive thru person was frustrated on the speaker. You could hear it. Tone of voice and a tish attitude but not intolerable or directed at the customer but definitely chaos in that kitchen.
But hey at least they smile and hand out free fake apologies once they are done completely disappointing you.
Staff looks totally defeated and drained. This McDonalds needs new ownership and new management. A shame.
