Michele and I had a great dinner at Mellow Mushroom tonight. We decided to be adventurous and tried the Loaded Potato specialty pizza. It was different, it was good — but probably a one-and-done for us. On the other side, we went with the Pacific Rim, which is always absolutely awesome and did not disappoint.
We also split a fresh house salad and Michele had a half order of wings. Everything came out hot, tasty, and well-prepared. Service from Kalli was excellent — friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
Overall, a fun night with great food. If you’re into trying new flavors, the specialty pizzas here are always worth exploring.

All Mellow Mushrooms are cool in my opinion, but this one specifically is my favorite. The atmosphere is great and the staff are incredible. This past Saturday I was there picking up food for my family and sat the bar while waiting. The bartender was a guy named Luke and he was amazing. I watched him handle 20+ pick up orders, while bartending, like it was no big deal – and it was a lot to manage. He has a great personality and his customer service was very impressive. He’s a natural. I always try to shout out people that do an above and beyond job, because good customer service is becoming harder and harder to find these days. As always, the food was great and I walked away a happy customer. This Mellow Mushroom is perfect for families and the location is key – very walkable around a ton of stores, so easy to stop in after shopping. Go see Luke at the bar on the weekend!

I went on Valentine’s Day to pick up pizza last minute. I ordered take out a little less than an hour before they closed, and on the phone they were just incredibly kind. I order here all the time, and it seems like every time I go the quality of the food gets better and the people get nicer. I go here cause they have superior customer service, the pretzels are always thick and fluffy and never burnt, and any time I ask for modifications whether it’s extra onions or a specific amount of sauces- everything is always included and always perfect the first time. Whoever’s back there in the kitchen needs raises, and every bartender deserves every cent of the tips that I can give- if I had the financial security to tip 100% of the bill, I would. My girls group met there last week for dinner. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the veggie calzone. The environment was welcoming and the staff were very accommodating for such a large group. The GM Manda even came over to check on us. Great experience!!

Best chicken wings i had in my life are here, Pizza is really good . But the smell inside the restaurant is horrible, chairs and floors are sticky and smelly. Restroom also is not clean. I would recommend the managers to do a clean up. Staff is friendly . Looks like the place is a little outdated. but thats ok. Just a clean up will fix all the issues.

I was really in the mood for good pizza… Please take into account that the pizza I ordered was gluten free, so to be fair, there is only so good that it can be. That said, I didn’t love the crust which was a bit hard and the taste wasn’t great. That aside, the spinach salad was tasty.

This is our favorite pizza place and we are regulars here but our experience today was horrible. The shitake mushroom pizza had ZERO mushrooms, yes literally ZERO. RIPOFF!!! and it tasted horrible. The wings, salad everything was just off. Not sure if the cooks changed or something. This place used to be packed on fridays but it was empty today. Something is definitely wrong with this place.

My family and I have been coming to this location for a long time, and we have always loved it. Recently though, it has gotten even better! They have a new manager who is really doing an awesome job turning up the energy and inspiring the already awesome servers. Obviously there is great food, but it’s always better when you feel like you are hanging out at home. Twenty Stars for my Mellow friends!

My family had a wonderful experience at Mellow Mushroom in Cumming. Our server, Ian, was delightful and efficient. We typically order a large pie with sausage, feta and Mellow Mushroom’s pesto swirl, but Ian recommended pepperoni,
as his favorite combination. So, we tried it and Ian’s suggestion added a next layer of spice. He made our experience even better. Just want to say, “Thanks Ian! You made it worth spending Friday night at Mellow Mushroom.”
