Really cool, old-school coffee shop with tons of character. The interior is warm and nostalgic, with walls lined with jars of loose-leaf tea, vintage displays, local gifts, and even free stickers at the counter which is a nice touch. Their tea selection is impressive, and the coffee itself is genuinely good.

That said, service was noticeably slow, and the staff wasn’t as welcoming as you’d typically expect from a neighborhood coffee spot with this kind of charm. The atmosphere and product quality are there, but the customer service could definitely match the vibe a bit more.

Overall, still a solid stop if you appreciate character and quality drinks, just don’t expect fast or overly friendly service.

Even if you don’t buy anything the place alone is a great time.
The coffee is full to the top of the to go cup, no frills or anything just straight strong coffee. Real good stuff too.
Plenty of seating across different levels, top floor, ground floor and basement level. All give you different ambiances.
On a Monday afternoon this place wasn’t over packed but I don’t imagine it ever is with people coming and going after coffee.
I didn’t see too many places to plug in computer by the way. And I didn’t detect wifi.
That being said, it’s nice to sit around and take in the day. It slows everything down and if nothing about the location catches your eye, the fact that this coffee shop repurposed a train station will.
Great place to stop by.

Really tried liking this place but I’ve never been impressed, especially with how much you’re paying. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and asked them to add on bacon (extra $3). Paid $8 for a matcha latte that literally tasted like 90% water. Got my breakfast sandwich and turns out their $3 bacon comes from a bag of bacon bits. $3 for bacon bits is crazy. Not to mention the not so friendly staff this time around. This place is cute but I am consistently disappointed every time.

Great place for an awesome breakfast. Enjoyed a scooped wheat bagel with egg and cheese, bagel with lox and cream cheese as well as a delicious pumpkin muffin. The hot cafe latte was perfect! The selection of delicious pastries and friendly staff made it a first time very pleasant experience! Definitely recommend and would love to return.

Located right on PCH 101, this café seems to rely heavily on its location rather than the quality of its service or products. That was the impression I got. My cappuccino was worse than gas-station coffee. They didn’t even offer to warm up the chocolate croissant, and it was inedible: dry and tough.
The service was unpleasant, and both the tables and interior were very dirty. Birds were constantly flying inside, which I wouldn’t normally mind—until I looked up and saw bird droppings and feathers on the ceiling. Once was enough. Shame.

This place is so cute. There are a lot of different areas to sit in both inside and outside. I love the big chairs that sit under the tree. The coffee is really good and not bitter. We had a very delicious croissant. We also had a bagel sandwich that was super good. The star of the show is the coffee.

Terrible experience. There is no customer service, the staff just has a straight face with no greeting whatsoever. I ordered a breakfast bagel, and waited almost 30 minutes. I went to check in the staff and just saw all standing around doing nothing. And finally when it came out, the bagel was the plain one but I ordered the everything. I added bacon which cost $3 but what they put in is bacon bits! So overrated and overpriced!

First time there, not sure I’ll be back as there are many other great coffee places in the area. We had a bad experience and the inside was very dirty and had bird poop inside. Outside looks nice but the inside was dingy.

We came in there were around 7 people in line including myself and 5+ people behind the counter. The girl taking our order was very rude and did not want to help us based on her attitude. There were two people in front of us checking out with someone else, standing in front of a very small and messily written flavor list. We asked if they had flavors and she just scoffed and pointed at the sign. When I couldn’t see it (because people were standing in front of it) and asked if she could tell me the flavors they had she just pointed at it again. At this point I was already not wanting to put up with this girl and her lack of customer service. I asked if they could add a flavoring to a macchiato, I know that traditional macchiatos are typically espresso with an ounce of milk, I personally like to add a little flavored syrup to mine which isn’t hard to do and if I’m paying for it who cares. Right off the bat she had an ugly attitude and said this isn’t Starbucks in a very rude way I just said ok, what would you recommend with a salted caramel flavor? no answer. The desserts and scones were not labeled so God forbid I had to ask what the muffins were. I just chose something random and it was really good but I also ordered a scone which was nothing special and I told her the jalapeno cheese one and she was very condescending “you mean a scone .” My latte that I ended up getting was not good at all I couldn’t even finish it.
I go to a new coffee shop every weekend for January and February when I’m done I don’t think I’ll be back to this one.

Nice atmosphere, cheery yellow paint everywhere and a cute gift shop. Horrible parking situation though, prepare to drive around for a bit, even on a weekday. Good pastries, but the coffee is expensive. Paid nearly $30 for 3 items, an almond croissant, a flavored latte, and a breakfast bagel. May be reasonable to some but I wouldn’t recommend it as budget friendly or a good deal. Have come here multiple times and have never been impressed with the service either.
