The meats were actually amazing, way better than most fast-food spots I’ve been to. My only real gripe is the value… the tacos are pretty small and they’re a bit stingy with the portions for what you’re paying. Also, I had to ask them to remake my horchata because it was super powdery with a ton of sediment at the bottom.
That said, the food itself was delicious and the vibe inside is actually really nice. It’s a great dine-in spot with a pleasant atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.
If you’re nearby, try Cilantro Taco Grill instead.
Original Review: I come here once a week with my family. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. It’s quite clear that the team is well supported, as they are never short staffed and always seem to have high morale. This is important to me, because I try to only support places that care about the wellbeing of their staff.
What to get:
-the breakfast burritos are always BOMB, I’ve never had a bad one. Especially with the veggie filling.
-they offer three types of salsas, all of which are the best salsas I’ve had at a restaurant. My personal fav is the habanero salsa.
-Nacho fries are so so so good. Especially with the chicken. I get no beans, but that’s a me thing.
What I wouldn’t recommend (in my opinion):
– the Horchata coffee. The flavors don’t go well together for me. I love horchata, but not with coffee I guess.
Restaurant atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, an ideal place to hang out with friends and long gossip.
Tried Cali burrito, chicken nachos, hard taco, and enchiladas.
The place is very neat and clean. The ingredients in the food was very fresh and clean. Full points for hygiene.
Nachos and burritos were excellent. We find tacos and enchiladas okay.
Overall, okay experience in terms of food.
