Tidewater Grill was really a cool little place. We ride by it all the time so we figured we’d go in and check it out and we were so happy we did. They have daily specials as well as their regular menu. The day we went they had steak tacos as a special and they were so good. We also had great service. We will definitely be back!

I chose this restaurant because it was rated #1 in North Myrtle Beach on Yelp. The interior was clean and nicely decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, as a first-time customer, I didn’t feel encouraged to return.
Our waiter seemed inexperienced, as he was unfamiliar with the menu and basic service expectations. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the fried shrimp plate. While the shrimp and grits were decent, the dish included very few shrimp, which was disappointing.
For me, the quality of a drink is just as important as the food when enjoying a meal. Unfortunately, the tea was extremely weak. I politely asked if they could provide a stronger brew, but the waiter checked with the kitchen and said it wasn’t possible.
After finishing our meal, I asked if I could bring my own beverage on a future visit. The staff consulted with the kitchen and informed me that it wasn’t allowed. At that point, I decided to let them know we wouldn’t be returning.

Solid local restaurant featuring delicious food and drink. We started with the “crabella”, a grilled portobello mushroom covered in cheese and crab meat which is big enough to share. Our mains were the grilled pork chop and the whitefish garlic sautee – both were amazing. We finished with a slice of pumpkin pie. Service was great, we had a super meal.

Note: They make their old-fashioneds with Knob Creek smoked maple bourbon – my personal favorite for this drink. The Best

Man – when I say this is this best meal I’ve had in SC ever. This place may not stand out from the outside – but on the inside is a gem!

From the drinks to the apps – the entrees didn’t let us down! Coming here for lunch is an absolute steal! Get the pork belly and their take on shrimp and grits!! Brian was incredible and shoutout to the kitchen.

I HIGHLY recommend this place!

Small restaurant tucked away in a strip area off the busy restaurant area. Nice seating area with large booths and tables. It was not busy as it was around 3pm. There is also a large well decorated bar area for seating. The waitress was very attentive and friendly.
The jumbo lump crab sandwich was delicious and actually fell apart because of lumps of crab and not fillers. The remoulade was slightly spicy but perfect acidity for the sandwich. Loved the onion rings and just the right amount.
The flounder platter had 2 large, lightly fried but super crispy filets. Served with housemade chips and slaw.
Everything was delicious and well worth the stop. Good amount of food for reasonable prices.

This was our first time there. The food was amazing. We had chicken parm and shrimp scampi. Both were delicious. Service was excellent. Friendly and efficient. We could not ask for a better meal or dinning experience. Will definitely be returning.

Hole in the wall that offers some amazing seafood fare and other classics. Not well known at all, because this is a local joint, not a tourist trap. We had the flounder and fish and chips. Airy and done to perfection! I’ve never been this impressed with a strip mall place. Will be a permanent addition to my future trips to the area
