I visited Vinayaga restaurant with high expectations, hoping to enjoy some real Indian food, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences ever. It completely lacked the warmth and flavor we expect from our cuisine. What made it worse was the attitude of the staff — including, I believe, the owner. They were arrogant, unfriendly, and full of ego. It honestly felt insulting to be treated that way.
I’ve never seen such behavior in any Indian owned restaurant before. It’s sad to see a place representing Indian food act so rudely. I would never go back or recommend anyone to visit. Restaurants like this don’t deserve to represent our culture. O star

Great food. We have been there for the lunch buffet (all you can eat) for 8,90 EUR.
Incl. great variety of vegetable dishes, one chicken (Halal) meal, fried vegetables. Mixed salads with different sauces, naan bread and lassi for desert. They serve Dinkelacker beer.
Staff is really very friendly.

I was there in weekdays at night. The atmosphere is good but the food was not that good. There are better Indian restaurants in Stuttgart. The service was pretty good. The price was a bit higher than other restaurants. For me it didn’t worth it.

Gone are the days when I would recommend as the top one for Indian food specially when ordering online. Ordered 4 dishes and 2 of them had like close to half the quantity of what it should be. Also the prices were raised recently.
Checkout the pic showing the quantity we received in two out of 4 dishes.
Edit: Writing a reply for your “polite” reply. I’ve seen you raising cost just within a month, so please don’t talk about 10 years. Secondly, you are not even sorry as you didn’t even wish to look into it if the order was for today or not. It was a couple of days back. Same packing but two items are almost half way down and talking about the reason as ability to pack properly?

The food portion was kind of small and a bit sweet, not spicy at all. Also the price is a bit high for this. The Hühnchen Sagwala (left) and the Hühnchen Jalfrazie (right) costed 12,90€ each and the rice bowl was for two people. I liked the paintings on the walls inside

It is one of the best Indian restaurants I have tried. The balance between food quality, price, and atmosphere is great. Staff are also friendly and helpful.

As an Indian myself, the food wasn’t that good. I expected better for that price. Would probably not come again

Every Saturday I eat outside and I always choose indian food, thats my way. I am from Kolhapur and I love spicy hot food. I have visited many Indian restaurants in Stuttgart but nothing beats Vinayaga, As the Indian food in Germany is abit fixed as per the Germans taste . I always order Butter chicken, garlic naan, tandoori chicken is exactly the same as you would find in India and mangooooo lassssiiiiii is so amazing. I dont order rice but they still give it with the Butter chicken which is more funn as I can eat in the lunch and dinner and the best part is the prices are not that high. You can easily eat lunch and dinner in under 30Euros. Assume it as a party day for yourself for working up alot the whole week as you deserve that I wish mangoo lasssi for small proportion was available in home delivery but its only available in 1L/0.5L (not sure about the numbers). The home service is also very quick, as they have their own servicemen for delivery.

Good enough if you want to try Indian food.

The paneer was a bit chewy, but the malai kofta and naan were good. The portion sizes were also satisfying.
