Tried this mid-west staple for the first time after hearing all the hype. The Mac-n-cheese is delicious and I love the warm, soft, biscuits that come with the chicken. You can get traditional fried chicken or chicken tenders. We opted for the 12 piece family meal and got all the “fixins” on the side. Definitely eat it while it’s still hot. I love that I get half a gallon of sweet tea to go. The BoJangles box it comes in is massive haha.
This will be a go-to stop when travelling mid-west for sure.

Last straw. This was the size of the thigh in our 2 piece dinner. Seriously?! And this isn’t the first offense. Fries that are usually luke warm and stiff (which happened again tonight). Occasions where we arrive an hour before close and are told there is no dark meat.

Today Jan 8 2026 @1pm I went to Bojangles cause I love there food. However; today was a unpleasant visit. I ordered a #12 from the menu. Went to window to pay for the food, and as always money came off my card. However; the employee at window said “they did not receive funds.” I told her money Came off my card. She went and got manager, and the manager said same thing I showed her proof on my phone where it came off my card. And I never got my food. I sat in drive threw for about 15 mins. Manager came to the window spoke to me very rudley” I Feel they just bold face lyed about receiving funds. I GUESS THEY DONT LIVE BY SAYING “THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT” NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK TO BOJANGLES AGAIN.

Everything was great, fresh and hot. The manager was really good, giving directions and working at the same time. It looks like they have some good employees. They also do a military discount. Oh, the dining room was clean also.

Overall, this food was pretty good. The biscuits were so soft and the chicken tenders were juicy and crunchy with a slight kick of buffalo. I loved it, honestly.
With that said, there is something that keeps them from 5 stars.
My order came without the Mac and cheese. It was requested twice with dirty rice and they still forgot it. Tsk…tsk…
Cashier was very nice though and food was well priced.
I may be going out on a limb when I say this but I think Bo Jangles tenders taste better than Popeyes. The biscuits are better as well. They got their 4 because the food was indeed good and fresh, but the mishap cost them a star.

There is a reason why this place is dead at dinner time, and we found out first hand. The food was undercooked, not hot at all not like warm ? Called the manager, she was like you’ve gotta ask next time for fresh food???? Why would i come to a restaurant to eat dinner with my wife, (only reason sir even wanted to eat there bc of boberry biscuits. Kinda hard to mess up those) pretty sure anyone that pays $40 to eat would want food hot. Especially people who go thru the drive thru. I wonder how many customers yall have lost bc of this. Like I said there is a reason why, your parking lot/ lobby is empty at dinner. Two more lost last night. Shame

Store is clean and food tasted good but they hulk smashed our biscuits and the service was awful.
After waiting for about five minutes for someone to finally show up at the register he rang up the order correctly but when it getting it out to us had it all messed up.

This may be the only fast food restaurant where my orders have ALWAYS been 100% correct. The food is good (and much less expensive than Popeyes) and the workers are professional and efficient. Love this place
