The food and staff is very nice.I love the vibe the place gives off. I really hope it never changes to a modern theme.
EDIT: So I went here again and I want to talk about Austin. The person who served us. Now he seemed like a great server and yes did serve the food great I would give him five stars. Honestly maybe you should give him a raise so he can buy for cigarettes and other stuff he takes in the parking lot. Though all together he seems like a nice guy that’s been through something. But I would honestly still go here and if you see Austin say hi for me please. Ok that’s all and thanks Austin!

I wish we would have gotten her name but the closing MOD tonight absolutely outdid herself and made me want to keep coming back to sonic! They messed up our order last night and she graciously corrected it for us and had the best attitude! We literally had to stop and take a picture of how amazing she made our sonic blasts look! I haven’t had one in years and was so excited for it last night just to disappoint but the young lady managing tonight takes pride in her job & it shows. She is what customer service and hospitality is about. Keep her, promote her!

So I’ve lived in Massillon for a long time and I have gone to Sonic enough times but not a whole lot. Anyway I have never gone to the Sonic and had respectful service. These young kids that work in there are incredibly disrespectful. Tonight I pulled up with my daughter to get some food and the manager as she so called herself came over the intercom and was automatically rude I mean instantly rude. Terrible tone sounded like she didn’t give a crap super annoyed. I pull up to the window and she was snarky. She had somewhat of an attitude when I said that I didn’t remember that they didn’t have tap pay. And she came at me saying we’ve never had tap pay but she was rude and she was disrespectful. So being the 40-year-old woman that I am to the maybe 20-year-old girl she is, I looked at her and I politely said please do not talk to me like that. And as soon as I said that She got disrespectful again and I said okay I will pay with cash and I said just please give me a minute. Was I a little irritated by this time, yes. She proceeded to slam the window shut, walk away cussing bitching angry. And then she was just gone. Gone. nowhere to be found. We are sitting there for a few minutes sitting there for a few minutes more and then a few minutes more and then nothing. So I knock on the window and there’s no answer. I knock on the window again there’s no answer. So I open the door and said hello I would like my food please and that is when all hell broke loose with this manager. She was telling me how I was being disrespectful by yelling in her window and this and that and she kept throwing the word manager around in my face and then told me to get out that I wasn’t getting my food. That’s all right I don’t need food from you. But what these kids need to learn is a little bit of respect. So for the guy that was recording the altercation and is only going to show a bit of what happened, probably me pissed off, I’m just letting you all know what exactly happened. At the end of it she explained that she was outside helping someone in the bay. Okay understandable I get it. But you don’t just leave someone sitting outside your window after being pissed and then not say anything. Because I was sitting there so long that I honestly thought she wasn’t going to come back to the window which is why I in fact knocked on the window and yelled in there. So just to let you know your “manager” lacks, respect, people skills, and emotional intelligence. No one should be a manager if they don’t know how to put their own feelings aside and be professional, respectful, and courteous.

We did a mobile order on the app and went here and the worker proceeded to say “we’re not making food only drinks”. Then when we told them we made the order on the app they said “okay pull up to the window” and made the food, terribly might I add. They gave me literal crumbs for my tator tots and my hot dog was old, they basically poured a whole bottle of mustard on it, and the bun was stale. This place has given us problems before but never this much.

Worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. All the stalls had broken speakers. Waited forever just to check in my mobile order. Waited forever for my food. Took well over 45 minutes total. Then get home and the food was all inedible. The corn dogs were so burnt we couldn’t even eat them and my chicken wrap had one tiny piece of kitchen. Kudos to the girl working she seemed to be doing her best but the cook was in street clothes, looked like he was on drugs, and kept cursing loudly. Based on the condition of the food I can only assume he was on drugs if he served this to people. Thankfully I already got my refund from corporate chat support because I doubt I would’ve gotten it any other way.

First, we pulled up to the car hop for service and pushed the button to order, only to be told that we would have to wait to order. 10 minutes went by, and still no service or response. Our red button turned off, and then we decided to go through the empty/unbusy drive thru, and we were finally able to order. We had to repeat our order 3 times because they couldn’t hear us and they weren’t the friendliest. Pulled up to the window and got our food within 5 minutes. Got a small milkshake with no whipped cream, even tho there was supposed to be. Got queso for pretzels and received a tiny pump of queso and no lid. The food was okay, and I got a grilled cheese and pretzels. Was very disappointed overall.

Our food came out wrong, but there was a new trainee in the kitchen on a night shift and we got the ultimate meat and cheese burritos (the smasher sauce was used instead of the zesty, or they had maybe filled the bottles backward). There was a bit of miscommunication with the manager, so I just requested a refund and she got that done for me quickly! You could tell she was new as well and needed more training, but she’s going to be great with some time. As an Oklahoma transplant, it was nice to have a taste of home.

I ordered on the app ahead of time, and still waited quite awhile for the food to be brought out. When the worker brought the food out she apologized and explained she was the only person working. The food was hot, fresh, and the order was accurate. Sonic, please get this worker some help. She should not have to work all by herself at lunch time. The drive thru line was backing up and there were several cars parked and waiting. I can’t imagine the stress she was going through trying to do everything.

I am a delivery driver so I can’t comment on the food but I experienced the rudest employees I am still appalled. I was there Friday 10/31/25 at 4pm
I read the instructions that was a “note from business” told me to park go and go inside and get the food. (photo included)
I walked in and there was a young girl she has long braids (no hair net on anyone in the place yuck) she said very rudely “you can’t be in here” that’s it. Which its fine I can’t but you can’t like tell me the alternative where to go or inquire why I’m there? I’m literally following the instructions then this man comes out ginger still no hair net and tells me again that I can’t be in there but actually asks if I am there for an order and I ask where to go and they told me the drive through.
I drive up there the girl opened it and I decided to bring up that the delivery instructions for the place are wrong and that they should update them. She got very defensive and said everyone who goes there knows not to go in, so I replied that I don’t come there so I would not know that. She called me rude (the nerve) and slammed the window in my face. Then I could hear her having a meltdown screaming which was really crazy and I would dare to say an overreaction. I didn’t call her names or yell I can’t imagine working around the public and having that little tolerance. So then the guy from before brings me the order and I again tell him that they should update the order instructions on the delivery site because honestly I cared for other delivery drivers who may have the same issue. He yelled at me and said I can’t go inside and again slammed the window. I wasn’t asking to go inside I just thought it would be courteous helpful to other delivery drivers. I guess they just don’t care about us. I definitely would never eat there after this. They were so aggressive and just could not take feedback. This was very unprofessional and when driving away I could barely believe it happened. It wasn’t like I was asking for free food or acting crazy.
I don’t know how these two are in customer service positions and honestly hope I never have an order pick up from there again.

Pulled up to order at the car hop area. They took my order there and directed me to pull to the drive thru window to pay and get the food. My order wasn’t correct and I didn’t receive the right number of Mozzarella sticks that I was charged for. On top of that I didn’t get the correct sauce. But, at least the food was hot…
