The food was nasty, tasted like soap and old dish rags. Most of what I ate was the same. A few items tasted fine. It wasn’t until my daughter and I both were leaving that she mentioned the soap taste and I agreed. Seeing everyone stuffing there face made me feel as if I were tripping on my food. Nah it’s was gross.

This old Furr’s Fresh Buffet building is perfect for this Chinese buffet. Food tasted good, well seasoned. Hot and sour was good. I got one chicken dish that was cold, so am concerned about that. Good sushi bar with fresh seaweed salad. Good variety of Chinese fare, with many chicken, beef, and seafood dishes.

Food wasn’t good. I ate it lost my appetite. Everything is old and taste nasty. I can you genuinely say I didn’t enjoy anything here. I only liked the potato’s everything else just tasted lime grease and had been sitting out forever. I had the absolute worst French fries I have ever had stale was absolutely disgusting. The manager was rude service really wasn’t good. I honestly would be surprised if this place even passed food inspection. Don’t waste your money here the most genuinely worst food place I have ever had in my life. I also feel extremely sick after and don’t trust anything. Don’t eat here.

This was my first visit. Very good food selection and variety, including non-Chinese dishes. The salmon was great and tasted really fresh. I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the food, considering it’s a buffet restaurant. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

We haven’t had a bad experience yet at the Royal Buffet. This is definitely the best Chinese all you can eat restaurant in Albuquerque.

Dishes that traditionally have flavor and spice were definitely lacking. The staff in our section were very nice and attentive. Typical buffet atmosphere.

Ok so new buffet in town thought I’d give it a try. Quite honestly I’ve had better tasting good out of a frozen Chinese dinner. Man when I saw so the different selections and a sushi bar plus a teppan grilli thought i hit the jackpot.
The food looked absolutely delicious only to be disappointed by the of putting flavors of most of the sauces used. The food was absolutely tasteless with some being not eatable at all
Teppan grill with not even a stir fry sauce or some sort. Definitely not worth the $15 a person plus a drink. Hate to ruin anyone wanted to try something new to town but I would you rather not save that hard earned money.

Got a takeout box before diving into paying for the whole buffet, food tastes good but every item is cold and I ate it directly after getting in the car. The cold food is concerning. Bet it would be great if kept in a food safe environment.

I don’t leave reviews ever. But this is important. This place seems like it would be good, but everything is lukewarm or cold. The very back buffet has been fridge cold two times in a row, making me believe that the food is left in the danger zone far too long. Multiple people mentioned it to them and they seemed unconcerned. We tried it a second time hoping the cold food was a fluke the first time, but it is sadly just how they operate. I’d be cautious going here because food is left at temps that will cause food poisoning for long periods.
