Recently moved to Elk River, decided to try Sammy’s pizza.
Our order was over $80 including delivery fee and tip.
Once we received our 16″, 14″ and wings, we opened up the pizzas and it was very apparent the pizzas had been dropped and who know what else.
Screwed up the toppings on one of the pizzas. Chatted with customer service through the Slice app, and after sending them pics they said they would only refund us 15% of the delivery fee and the tip for a total of $25. I told them that was unacceptable and that the driver should have gone back and gotten new pizzas after dropping them.
They said that was the best they could do.
In all my life I have never received my pizzas looking like this, mind you these pics are after my hubby flipped half of one of the pizzas up right and then tried fixing the toppings, the second pizza the toppings were all in the center of the pizza like in a ball.
We tried eating it, it was gross. Never again!

First time here- just moved to Elk River- was super excited to try pizza in this area as it is one of our favorite foods- Would have to say I was disappointed as I paid for extra sauce and extra cheese and got neither. Flavor was pretty good, just disappointed by the cost and what I didn’t get that I paid for

Came here Tues 5/6/25 with my 80 yr old parents. Stopped on a whim. Oops it’s Bingo Night, so before that started, it was Hella noisy with loud music and people talking. I don’t know why businesses don’t consider old people can’t hear when music is playing! Hell, I can’t hear either. When Bingo started, wow! It was so very quiet and much easier to talk!!
Pizza: I looovvee the crust, and often eat whomevers pizza crust at my table, but nope! This is sooo crepe /Dry /crunchy. No one at my table ate the crust. That’s unfortunate. I also thought it was expensive for the size of the pizza we got. Yes I know prices are rising, but each of our mediums pizza was about $18+, and then not being able to eat the crust. I live in Minneapolis, so might not stop in for pizza, but I’d love to come for bingo (though I didn’t see if your TVs show the bingo numbers? That’s important for everyone!) enjoy all my photos! The pics of the women’s bathrooms, are important to me, for my senior parents /accessible stalls. I DID appreciate that the bathrooms had a ramp up to them, and not stairs. Though I really suggest that the stairs that you do have, to the upper level dining , have railing on both sides. Thanks!

Worst food I’ve had in a long time. First time I’ve ordered and won’t do it again. They screwed up one of the pizzas (missing the toppings), tasted like cardboard with very little sauce and cheese, Italian sandwich contained very little meat and the Stromboli meat tasted funny like it was spoiled.

I ordered a pizza for delivery through the restaurants website at 430pm on a sunday. 90 minutes later it still had not been delivered. Called the restaurant to cancel and get a refund, but was told they couldnt help me and that I had to go through Slice app or their customer service. Called slice who said that they wohld give a 50% refund for recieving 0% pizza. I said that is unacceptable and they hung up on me. Now I have opened a dispute with my bank to get my refund as the pizza was never delivered. I will NOT give business to this restaurant again. Never delivered the pizza, likely lied about not being able to refund my order, headache all around. Terrible experience.
Edit: some random person came by close to 2 hours after the order was placed and i had called the restaurant as well as customer service. They tried to deliver what only could have been a 2hr old, cold, clammy pizza. Too little too late, refused to accept the delivery. I am not going to risk the health of my family for dairy, meat and vegis which were sitting for close to 2hrs. This is not safe for consumption and I am not going to put into a situation which the restaurant plays some unethical game that they delivered their product when they fullfilled none of the transaction. I will continue to work with my banks legal team to get a full refund as they did not fulfill a single part of their side of this transaction.

My husband ordered two take home pizzas from Sammy’s on a Saturday. We had family staying at our home that weekend. The pizza was truly the worst pizza we had ever tasted!! I was angry and embarrassed that we had to serve it to our family. Even our five year old grandson said it didn’t taste good at all and he wouldn’t even eat it. We live 14 miles each way from Sammy’s out in the country so we didn’t have time to return the two awful pizzas. The crust was like cardboard, there hardly any sauce on both pizzas, the sausage and bell peppers was cut up so tiny you could barley even see or taste it! I should of phoned Sammy’s right away to make a complaint and ask for our $ 45.00 back, but I busy with family and grandkids. I did phone Sammys five days later to complain about the terrible pizza and ask for a refund, but the manager was not cooperative at all. He didn’t even bother telling me that he was sorry and was not very nice to me on the phone and he stirred my anger up. I said something I shouldn’t of said and Im sorry about that. I was over tired that day. But the manager certainly should of been much kinder and apologetic to his customer. We just wont ever go there again. They really need to learn how to make a good pizza at Sammy’s.
A good tasty pizza crust, along homemade saice, & sausage is a must when it comes to pizza!
Aurelios Pizza Restaurant & Bar in Ramsey had all of that and so much more, but they are gone now do to the new roadwork and over pass that ended up blocking the view of the strip mall where they where located. They will be dearly missed. It was homemade super tasty delicious pizza. Does anyone know of any good pizza places in Minnesota? Please let us know?

Pizza is always solid, love the crust and most of the toppings. Needs a better Italian sausage and to put a little more sauce on so you can actually taste it. Still very solid I am just nitpicking. We give it a 7.8, fix the two things and this is a mid 8s

First time. Erica was our server and she was fast and very friendly. We ordered the Chicken Alfredo pizza, Bacon Cheeseburger and the Meatball sandwich. All were very good. Will definitely be going back.

Sammy’s has been a community staple in Elk River for a while now. They continue to listen to feedback and improve across the board. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food hits the spot!
