Bob Evans Crosswoods
During visits to Worthington, Ohio, I’ve found the Crosswoods campus suitable for hotel stays that are close to the airport but also close to the heart of Worthington. While spending a few days during the holidays in 2025 I found my regular go-to place – Hound Dog’s Pizza – was unexpectedly closed on a weeknight. My next choice was the Bob Evans located in Worthington.
Directly across from the Ruckmoor (a storied cash-only dive bar), Bob Evans is as reliable a restaurant as anyone could hope for.
I had skipped lunch, so I was hungry. I ordered the “All American BLT” (four strips of center-cut hardwood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on griddled brioche bread served with deli pickles) with Cole slaw (710 – 1340 cal.) ($11.69 with one side; 12/69 for two sides). Polished off the Cole slaw and half of the sandwich, saving the other half for lunch the next day.
Service for my carry-out order was efficient and friendly. The waiting area was clean and well-lit, the staff was attentive, and the food was excellent.

Ordered sausage gravy and biscuits, and i have never seen so much sausage in the gravy. Barely any gravy so biscuits were obviously dry. 7 dollar meal, worth about 3 dollars. Disappointed

My wife and I went after a marriage class at church. It was great to go to a restaurant that still makes “home cooked” food. I felt like getting a Sunday meal, and Bob Evans didn’t disappoint. I ordered the lemon chicken with beef tips and it was good. The chicken was better than the beef, surprisingly. My wife had the country fried steak with white gravy, one of her favorites. The staff was very gracious and helpful, the food was spot on. I have been to Bob Evans in ages and this just worked great for us. Thanks Bob.

Love the service and the food
Our server came out of her as exemplar. When you are in the area checkout this Bob Evans location and ask for Teresa.
I ordered soup and salad combo which was very good. My friends ordered Rotisserie chicken, Biscuits and Gravy, and Chicken fried steak. All were good portions and not pricey.
The general surroundings are clean and well kept. The location is small than others but good seating arrangements.
I will come again and recommend to friends and families.

Ordered multiple things and orders were incorrect. Hair in the food. Stale fries with melted cheese over it. Reached out to Bob Evans in regards to hair in food & got no help whatsoever. Have been going back and forth with them for about 2 months. Cleanliness is questionable considered the strand of hair.
UPDATE: funny how they tell you to contact customer support but the refused to respond back or resolve this issue. It has been months and I am tired of trying to reach out for help. I am disgusted!

Today my mom, two daughters, and I visited this Bob Evans for brunch. We were seated quickly, but no one came to our table for 10–15 minutes until we flagged down the hostess. When our server finally arrived, she seemed more annoyed than apologetic. I understand servers can get over-seated, but customers shouldn’t feel neglected because of it.
While we eventually got our drinks and food, our server’s attitude made it seem like she didn’t want to wait on us, especially compared to how she treated other tables. She did become more attentive once our food arrived, but the slow start and poor service left a bad impression. For better service, I’d recommend the Bob Evans in Lewis Center—I’ve always had quick, consistent experiences there.

Editing my reviews, i went there a 3rd time after confirming that it was not the correct chicken. The man manager was so nice and apologetic and understanding as was the young man who tried to help the first time, bc like i said he was running the counter and togos i think. They offered me a drink while i waited but i declined bc they did give me my drink. I was embarrassed and felt guilty to go back at all especially a third time but my family wanted me to stand my ground so we went back. But if they minded they didn’t let me on to it. Which i appreciate because i have awful anxiety.
I ordered fried chicken to go. They gave me baked chicken or something that was just fried and when i tried to get it corrected the lady manager(?) tried to tell me it was fried chicken. I have getting the same thing here since i was a child. I know what fried chicken looks like. Fried chicken is not unbreaded. I did not ordered it unbreaded. I just wasted almost $20. The only person at the counter who tried to help was the young man doing check out at the counter in all black but there was little he could do with his manager(?) there

Restaurant was clean. Excellent service from Greg and Jacob. I would definitely visit and ask for Greg again. Food was good. It came out quickly and was nice and hot.
