4.5 stars. Haven’t eaten here in quite some time and the wife and I decided to swing in for dinner. Greeted right away with a friendly welcome and how many. Floors were clean as well as the tables. Restroom was clean and well kept as well. Our waitress *Emily* was fantastic!!! We ordered the BBQ for 2 and a pair of sweet teas. Everything was fast, fresh, and well prepared. The meats are lightly seasoned and I feel they leave the sauces to do most of the talking. 5 sauce choices available at the table. Chicago Sweet, KC, Original, Spicy, and Sweet and Smoky. So there should be a taste for everyone’s pallet here. It was quite busy during our visit but it remained pretty quiet making visiting with your table easy to do. And the Manager stopped by during our meal as well to check on food and quality. Overall good experience!

I went to this BBQ place for a late lunch. Overall, it was alright. The interior looked odd, like halfway between a community center kitchen and a restaurant. They could really overall the decor. The food was alright, the service was not.
The waiter that sat me at a table was friendly, but it looked like he had too many tables to serve. He was darting from table to table even though there was hardly anyone there. He asked me if I was ready to order, and when I began ordering, he interrupted me to go help another table. After a little while a lady came to take my order instead. No greeting, no smile, nothing exemplary. It’s not that I’m offended, it’s that if I’m going to a sit-down restaurant and tipping for service, I should be getting better service than the service I get at Culver’s.
The food was good, but nothing to write home about. I got the brisket lunch platter with garlic bread, potato salad, and BBQ baked beans. The garlic bread was good, albeit a little soggy on the ends. The potato salad, the baked beans, and the in-house BBQ sauce were amazing! The brisket was a little disappointing. There wasn’t that much of it. It was tough and about a third of it was straight fat. It was dry and it definitely wasn’t melt-in-your-mouth like the brisket I’ve had at other BBQ restaurants.
Overall, if you need a quick bite and want some BBQ, this place will work, but it’s nothing spectacular.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The food was perfect The beans were really good and so was the garlic bread! They’ve also got amazing brisket and just the overall vibe was really neat. I like how the food isn’t so calorically dense either but still very tasty. The service was even better; Jason B was my server today and he was really sweet and efficient! This is my second visit to Bandanas and I’ll definitely be coming back regularly.

Great food, good sausage portions too, had the three meat combo platter with ribs and sausage and dark meat chicken, with BBQ beans and mac & cheese for sides. all good size portions, all tasted good definitely a good BBQ place overall, though I haven’t tried others in the city.

A straight 5 stars for the food and especially the staff. We walked in unannounced at 720pm on a Saturday night. Their friendly professional staff had us seated quickly (table for 17) Attended to our needs including drinks and requiring 6 different tickets. Food served without delay or mistakes.
I had the ribs and my friend had the brisket.

Bandana’s is my favorite place for consistently great bbq. Jason was our server, he did a fantastic job. The food was great as always. Mom got a 1/3 slab dinner, I got the brisket budget buster (pictured), with double fries (the sauces are that great).
