We also tried the nachos, which were unreal and easily big enough to be a meal for 2. The shepherd’s pie was another standout. I was told the burger was excellent as well, and judging by how everything else came out, I have no reason to doubt it. What really impressed me was the value. Each meal was around $15, but the portions were so large that you could easily share a plate and still have food left over.
The pub has the classic Irish setup with plenty of TVs, so it’s a great spot to catch a game while you eat. We stopped in during lunch, and it was busy enough to feel lively without being overwhelming. It’s worth noting that you do have to drive to get to this location, but it’s absolutely worth the trip. You order everything directly at the bar, and they bring the food out to your table, which worked smoothly and kept things moving.
The bathrooms were clean, which is always a big plus and says a lot about how the place is run. Overall, this was a fantastic food stop with great portions, fair prices, and classic Irish pub vibes. If you’re in the area and looking for a reliable, satisfying meal, you will not be disappointed going here.
The food: The food was amazing. Hand made mash, crisp caesar salad with a REAL caesar dressing. If you are a caesar salad fan like me you will know what I mean by real. A+ to the chef.
Drink: My mixed drink was made ok. I prefer the fruit muddled to get the flavors to meld with sugar, then express the orange peel oils over the top of the drink.
If you’re hungry and looking for a place to grab a quick bite this one is a must.
You must order the Irish stew and corned beef sliders! The best Irish stew I have ever had. The bangers & mash were also delicious. Will be back!
The service, was, subpar? They were attentive but, interactions seemed off. Like they didn’t want us there.
Either way, I suggest grabbing a bite here. Its a nice pub.
So Glad We Did!
The atmosphere was great and the Reuben was one of the best I’ve ever had.
This is a must visit place if you’re looking for great food and a fun time.
