My husband and I were coming home from the beach and were looking for a hot meal and I found this place doing my search of I65. We live in Birmingham. It truly was not that far from the interstate and it was worth the extra few miles ( plus it was red ahead of us so the timing was perfect). It is a cute place and the staff was friendly and gave suggestions based on what I was looking for. The food looked and was delicious. I had the Mediterranean chicken with a wonderful side dish ( see menu) and my husband got this burger with gravy. He ordered fries which was good but he will try a different side next time. I did not finish my meal because I was the brownie dessert. Every thing was large portions and we definitely plan to visit this place again. Plus we got the fried green tomatoes- so good!

This was our first time there. The fried mushrooms are to die for. The service was good, very friendly and fast. The atmosphere was typical neighborhood bar and grill. We will be back. We had an appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 desserts and tea and a beer and the table was $62 + change.

I was very impressed with this place. We stopped by for dinner to meet family and we were are warmly greeted, and seated promptly. Their specials looked amazing, the regular menu was also tantalizing. Our server was so nice and quick, she kept our drinks full and was very attentive. The food was very tasty, and you could tell everything was from scratch. Even the kids nuggets were hand beaded and fried to perfection. It was only a few minutes off the interstate as well, so if you’re anywhere close, I would highly recommend stopping by.

Unexpected gem sitting on 31 not far below me …down in Chilton County. Great atmosphere and the food was Krazy good. The twist on the Cajun fries…with the feta chz, japs, tomatoes ranch and Cajun seasoning…WOW. I’ll definitely be heading there again and again!!!

I am from Bama and Was back home visiting the area for a wedding and found this little gem. Haven’t lived in Bama for 8 years so o had never heard of this place. The food was amazing!! The sweet tea was just what my soul needed that day lol. Fried green tomatoes were amazing!!! We all got something different and everyone was pleased with their dish. Highly recommend!!

Enthusiastic and prompt staff and service. We were greeted and treated like regulars. One of the best hamburgers I have had at a good price. Fried mushrooms were great. Highly recommend eating here. We were passing through Clanton on I-65 from B’ham on our way home and my wife found this restaurant on the web. Wanting something different we thought we would try here. Glad we did. We’ll eat here when we are in the area again.

Went here for the first time tonight and was not at all impressed. The silverware was dirty, the appetizer plates were dirty. I have never had a grilled chicken sandwich that was so greasy in my life. Our server was seemed very angry, she slammed our plates down on the table and walked off. She did not check on us at all. We will not return

First night in the area and when looking to find somewhere for our anniversary dinner…we had to try it after reading the reviews. The Cajun Shrimp and Grits was amazing!! My husband enjoyed his Braveheart Ribeye. Service was fantastic.
