“Fresh, fast, and way better than your average drive-thru taco”
The Clarkston Taco Time is one of those rare fast-food spots that actually feels like a step above the rest. The food here tastes fresher, the service is friendlier, and everything — from the crisp tacos to the tater tots — comes out hot and well-prepared every time.
I ordered a crisp taco, a soft burrito, and a side of Mexi-Fries (because you can’t not), and everything was excellent. The tacos were packed perfectly — crunchy shell, fresh lettuce, and flavorful beef that wasn’t greasy. The burrito was wrapped tight and full of balanced flavor, and those Mexi-Fries were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. It’s comfort food done right — simple, consistent, and satisfying.
The staff are friendly, efficient, and genuinely seem to care about the customer experience. Even in the middle of a rush, orders move quickly, and everyone stays upbeat. My food came out fast, fresh, and exactly as ordered — which says a lot about how well this place is managed.
The restaurant is clean and comfortable inside, and the drive-thru is one of the quickest in town. It’s clear they take pride in keeping the place running smoothly and the food quality high.
If you’re in Clarkston and want something quick that doesn’t taste mass-produced, Taco Time is the move. Fresh ingredients, friendly faces, and the kind of consistency that keeps you coming back.
As always, Taco Time has their selection of Southwestern fast food that we know and love, like the crispy burritos, salads, nachos, and so on. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I always get the feeling I’m not quite getting my money’s worth when compared to similar fast food in the area. Not that quantity is everything (speak for myself, eh?), but I feel that I could spend the same at a sit-down restaurant and get more for my dollar.
Otherwise, full marks.
