I had such a great experience at IHOP in Laurel today! The staff here are super nice, friendly, and welcoming — they really make you feel comfortable right away .
The food was excellent! ️
I tried the pancakes , sausages , and eggs — everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and buttery, the sausages had great flavor, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Honestly, this is the perfect spot for a morning breakfast. ☀️
Overall, I highly recommend this IHOP location if you’re looking for great service and amazing breakfast food. I’ll definitely be coming back! ✨

I am absolutely disgusted, furious, and deeply disappointed with my recent experience at the IHOP in Laurel, MD on Baltimore Ave.
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt dirty and unwelcoming. The bathrooms were filthy, the entire place smelled unpleasant, and it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The customer service was just as disappointing — staff were not friendly, attentive, or professional, and overall made the entire environment feel careless and uncomfortable.
When I received my to-go order, the food immediately looked extremely unappetizing. The eggs were slimy, the ham was undercooked and wet, the hash browns were pale and soggy, and everything was sitting in a pool of slimy liquid in the box. The bacon and sausage tasted old and stale. Despite how bad everything looked, I tried to give it a fair chance because I didn’t want to jump to conclusions based on appearance alone.
Unfortunately, everything tasted just as bad as it looked — absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. I even tried the biscuits and gravy separately, hoping for something redeeming, but they were extremely bland, underwhelming, and disappointing as well. The only thing remotely decent were the pancakes.
I saved the eggs for last, still trying to give the meal a chance — and that’s when I discovered something horrifying: black fungus growing in the eggs. This is not just gross — it’s an extreme health hazard. No customer should ever have to find something so dangerous and unsanitary in their food. At that moment, I immediately threw the entire meal away. I completely lost my appetite and could no longer trust anything that was prepared there. I essentially paid for trash — and worse, I was put at risk of serious foodborne illness.
This experience was absolutely unacceptable on every level — from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food quality, and most importantly, to basic food safety. I expect a full resolution for the money I wasted and for the complete disregard of my health and safety.
If this situation is not addressed appropriately, I will escalate this to IHOP corporate as well as local health authorities. Serving spoiled food with visible mold and maintaining such unsanitary conditions is not just poor service — it’s a public health violation.
I am beyond disgusted, angry, and disappointed. I will never return to this location, and I strongly advise others to think twice before risking their health here.
I would have given zero stars but that wasn’t an option.

Feb 25, 2026 at 1130am. We usually enjoy our visits here, but today’s visit was not great. Our server was Kelly. We waited about 15 minutes before she made it to our table (not busy in restaurant. She took our order and we had to wait AGAIN for coffee to be brought out and then again waited longer than normal for food. During this time she didn’t even stop by to see if we were okay. We had to flag her down to get more coffee, as the food was definitely taking longer than usual and we were out of coffee…Although she would check with all of the other tables to see if they needed anything, like refills. Just overall a disappointing visit.

Good morning Ihop, I was there yesterday and I want to thank u guess for serving the people that serve this country, you guys are the best!!! The thing that stood out to me most yesterday was our server “KELLY”!!!! that woman can serve!!! even though it was busy, she kept her professionalism, she was on top of things, my glass never went empty and our plates were removed quickly. The fact that u guys are that busy and this woman can take a party of my size without using paper for our order, is beyond me!!! we will DEFINITELY be back, and hopefully we can request for Kelly, shes really nice and ALWAYS smiling!!! Breakfast was really good. We tried the Gomez omelette and the chicken fajita omelette and both were great. Chicken fajita omelette is my new favorite. We also got french toast and chocolate chip pancakes. Waitress was very nice and food came out quick even tho they were busy.
