Dawson who served us was excellent, friendly and regularly checked on our table.
Restaurant looks good, food came out in good time. Had the club sandwich which excellent, fries however not seasoned.
Burger was tasty. We also had the chicken and sausage gumbo which was spot on.

Service and atmosphere:
Service was outstanding. All staff members were professional, knowledgeable, helpful and very attentive.
The restaurant was clean, organised and well decorated giving it the modern look.
Food and drinks:
This restaurant offers great selection of various dishes on their menu. I like that the breakfast items are served all day. Anyone can find here good options to choose from.
My petite steak with eggs was cooked to order and came out perfect. Very good seasoning.
We ordered pizza too and it was delicious. Generous toppings and good flavours.
You can order here alcoholic beverages to accompany your meals.
Pricing:
$$ – definitely worth the overall experience.

Ordered the pesto chicken salad sandwiche combo to go and it was soooo good! The packaging is so cute too but really this sandwich was so delicious and fresh and it was a super quick to go order at lunchtime on a Thursday.

Completely disappointed today. Craving the meatloaf and went there for lunch. I normally order two meatloafs at the Fountainview location. There brought me the meatloaf and I immediately said the sauce looks different. The server said try and tell me if you don’t like it. It was basically marinara sauce that they tried to pass off. If it wasn’t available just say so. Their meatloaf is known for the unique and tasty sauce and it is a shame that it was served that way. Also order sliders for the kids and they forgot the cheese and we had to add from our grill cheese.

Barnaby’s Café at the Long Point location is absolutely one of my favorite spots in Houston! Irving, our server, provided excellent service—so friendly and attentive. The food is exquisite, and the portions are very generous. It’s also a super clean, pet-friendly, and LGBT+ welcoming place, which makes the atmosphere even better.
Highly recommend the Spicy Crispy Chicken Wontons and the Chicken Fried Steak—both are outstanding! Pair it with their refreshing, natural Strawberry Lemonade, and don’t leave without trying the forever best Carrot Cake. An all-around excellent place I’ll always recommend!

Casual Dining
Google Maps gave slightly confusing directions, but once we arrived, the restaurant had a nice, clean, and well-decorated ambiance — cozy and welcoming overall.
We were greeted quickly and seated without a long wait, which was great. Unfortunately, our server wasn’t very friendly and seemed to have a nonchalant attitude throughout the visit. When I asked if I could substitute an item (and even offered to pay an upcharge), his response was indifferent, almost as if it was an inconvenience. He also never came by to refill my coffee.
The speed of service was normal, and the menu variety was impressive. Prices were reasonable, and the presentation was appealing. The taste and quality of the food were excellent, and the temperature was fine — everything looked and tasted fresh.
However, when my meal arrived, I found a hair wrapped around the broccoli and into the petite steak. The manager handled it professionally, apologized, and comped the meal from our bill — but it was definitely unpleasant and disappointing to experience.
Overall, I’d say Barnaby’s Café has a great atmosphere and delicious food, but the service quality and food handling could use improvement.

We had a great meal here. Every one of the staff was delightful and helpful, and great with the children present. We didn’t have to wait long for our order, and even though our server Angel hadn’t written anything down, every single part of our order (6 people) was correct, including multiple exceptions for dietary restrictions.
The strawberry lemonade was particularly delicious and the fries were cooked perfectly, as were the burgers.
Would definitely recommend.

I always look for places that are dog friendly. So glad Barnaby’s opened a location in Spring Branch. I bought my dog with me for a quick bite to eat. I love their wedge salad. It comes with two thick slices of bacon. I decided to try a Guacamole Burger with Sweet Potato fries. I ordered a strawberry mimosa for my drink. For my pup, they give dog water bowls. I ordered him chicken and brown rice. Safe to say he enjoyed it too. Our server was nice and attentive. They also had a great selection of music playing. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed some good food!
