Lively Mexican eatery serving tortas, tostados, tacos & a variety of margaritas in a casual setting.
Pure Taqueria
Fresh, fun taqueria concept in the Atlanta area specializing in amazing margaritas, tequilas, mezcals, and creatively authentic Mexican fare.

I popped into Pure Taqueria on a hot Tuesday afternoon, craving some yummy tacos and curious to see what all the buzz was about—especially since the patio is always packed.
I ordered the Skinny Love margarita and a fish taco. The margarita? So good. Refreshing, perfectly balanced, and definitely the highlight of my visit. The fish taco, on the other hand, didn’t quite hit the mark for me—nothing terrible, just not memorable.
Overall, I’d come back for the vibes and the drinks, but I’m not rushing back for the food. Great spot if you’re looking to sip something good and soak in the scene.

I love Pure Taquería. The food is incredible. They do so well on the classics like enchiladas and the burrito. The specialities are always thoughtful and delicious. From the rotating empanadas to the tacos and enchiladas, I always find them to be superb. I really enjoy the salads as well. The drinks are great and the atmosphere is fun. Most of the time the service is great as well.

This is by far the best Mexican food place in Atlanta. The location is easy to get to, the food is super affordable, and the taste of every dish is amazing. Make sure to get the queso con todo – their chips are SO good.

Parking is a small nightmare but its Atlanta, Inman Park. No fault of their own. Service was fine, drink was great (unnecessarily expensive but atleast it was good), food… I havent had good Pure food in some years. I frequented Dunwoody back in the day, Roswell and Woodstock occasionally– across the board, it just hasnt been good. The last 2 times I got their tinga– its been so spicy and dark, almost greasy so I got grilled chicken this time trying to place it safe. It was like it was cooked straight from frozen, the texture was rubbery. The fries were room temp, unevenly seasoned and on the greasy side. I miss the way their food used to be. I dont know what it is:(

The place is well located, spacious, has seating inside and outside the restaurant, the food was very good, the service was good too. But there were some insects crawling on the chair and the wall, I think the place should take better care of this, and the cleaning of the bathrooms too.

We enjoyed it all. Queso con Todo (if you like queso) is fantastic! It was devoured before I could think about taking a photo. The chicken tamales had good amount of chicken. My family ordered enchiladas and plantains. The Cazuela is a tasty bowl filled with grilled chicken, grilled veggies, pico de gallo, rice and beans topped with avocados. Chicken empanadas are my favorite.

Visited on National Margarita Day with my husband and was both surprised and happy that there was seating available. We got there a little after 9pm and we seated right away with menus. While they didn’t have margarita day specials they did have a Dip & Sip special for Wednesdays and Thursdays. It’s $39.99 for a regular or plus margarita pitcher and either queso or guac.
Our server greeted us and we ordered the plus pitcher with guac and continued to look over the menu. We were brought waters and the guac came quickly after. The chips were housemade and had the right amount of crunch and salt. Guac needed a little extra salt and pepper, but overall really good. The plus margarita was perfection.
I ordered the Veggie Burrito Ahogado while he ordered 2 Birria Tacos and 1 Carne Asada taco with rice and black beans.
We continued talking and eating the chips and guac. Food came and we were ready to eat. Presentation was good and so was the food. My burrito was flavorful and filling. He enjoyed his tacos and thought the rice and beans were ok.
Overall it was a great time. Nice ambiance and staff. The only misstep was there is no indication, nor was there a mention, that the plus margarita is $4 more. I didn’t even notice until a day later that they charged me $43.99 rather than $39.99 because if I had I would have addressed it.

Had the chicken fajitas. The salsas were delicious. The chicken was nice and juicy and enjoyed that palate change between the foods. Will be coming back!

The food was nasty. Food was so spicy my sister could not eat. Not only that I ordered food and it came back out with mushroom and I’m highly allergic. I asked them to remake my order the waiter said that he did not put my order in the system because he said he thought I did not want it. I waited a hour and a half for food and everyone was done eating by the time they brought my food. Just to come out and a boot on my car and I was at the restaurant. The lady said I did not go in the restaurant but I got all 3 of my receipts. This was the worst mexican restaurant I ever went to I will never come back. I also had to wait a hour and a half to get the boot off.
