This place quite fancy and of history! Amazing variety on Italian cuisine and drinks. However, my partner’s vegetarian dishes such as the Minestrone and the Pesto Fettuccine were too salty. But, for my Catch of the Day, the fish was not only fresh but well cooked.

All the other restaurants were packed and we weren’t able to get a table as a group of seven but Trattoria Toscana was able to seat us, and I am very glad they did. The restaurant was actually run by authentic Italians. I had the Pizza Mediterranea with rucola and schinken – as good as the pizza I had at Italy. Absolutely delicious.

our hotel recommended this restaurant and we went for dinner. We were not that hungry so we had a pizza which we thought was very good of vegetable pizza. We also had a salad with goat cheese on it, which I thought was very good. A nice light dinner It was supposed to be Air conditioning inside, not so much !!!!!!!had a beer the other food that was being brought out looked good ! I would recommend this place if you’re in the area. the food. that was being brought out looked good that was being served indoor outdoor seating.

This is a prestigious restaurant and the food was delicious. While we were there, a group of 5 people came and wanted a table and the restaurant had many free tables. The waiter told them if you are 5 people you should order 5 foods not 3 or 4! And they left!!!
Moreover, after we finished, we asked them to pack two half pizza which were leftovers of our plates. They folded the pizza and wrapped it into an aluminium foil and put it in a plastic bag and tied it !!!! This felt very disrespectful! Even in the cheapest restaurant they have a food/pizza boxes for packing.

We ordered a carbonara and a pizza. The carbonara was one of the worst I’ve ever had in my life. The egg was overcooked and looked scrambled, the pancetta was underdone and the pasta was swimming in a sea of oil. The pizza was nothing like an authentic Italian pizza, it wasn’t cooked enough, the salami was the pre-packaged type just placed on top without being sliced properly, and the potatoes were poorly boiled.
On the positive side, the service was good, the staff were very kind and friendly, and I really enjoyed the Lugana wine I had.

Wow! What a hidden gem! We just happened upon theis place and it did not disappoint! The salmon ravioli was amazing- butter and sage sauce! Hats off to the chef! My husband had the spaghetti bolognaise and ate every bite. I wish they were in Tecas and not Heidelberg.
