The last time I’ve been here was probably 20 years ago so I was glad to see they were still in business. The food did have an authentic flavor. The fried rice was a bit dry though. The service was pretty good, checked on us a couple of times. Prices are reasonable and you get good bang for your buck here, especially with the lunch specials. Probably why it stays busy. All in all, I did like this place and will swing in again when I’m in the neighborhood.

This place was amazing. The food was very tasty although it made my stomach hurt but that is normal for almost all Chinese food. My motto is if it doesn’t make your stomach hurt it wasn’t good. The servers were always very attendant but not overbearing they were hovering around the tables at all times and you could just look at them and acknowledge them and if you didn’t need anything they would leave you alone but if they seen you needed anything they would immediately attend to you. The food was also done very quickly we sat down and were eating within 5 minutes. Everything was hot and delicious. The lunch special is a good amount of food and worth the price.

My family and I came in super hungry after our flight and this place did not disappoint. White rice was extra fluffy, which happens to be difficult to find in many Asian restaurants, and the entrees were flavorful. I’m gonna be honest, I can see myself wishing I could have a plate of their tangerine chicken. But it’ll be something to look forward to the next time we’re in Phoenix.
Even though the building looks rough and parking can be a challenge, don’t judge a book by its cover!

Wong’s Chinese Restaurant in Phoenix is an absolute treasure! From the moment you step in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere sets the stage for an unforgettable meal.
Their house fried rice is my all-time favorite—it’s packed with savory flavors, perfectly cooked rice, and a generous mix of meats and fresh vegetables. The egg drop soup is another standout, with its silky texture and comforting, rich flavor that feels like a warm hug in a bowl.
The menu offers an impressive variety of options, but these dishes always bring me back. Add to that the exceptional service and cozy ambiance, and you’ve got a dining experience that never disappoints. If you’re in Phoenix and craving Chinese food, Wong’s is a must-visit spot!

Very polite and quick service. The dining room was clean. everyone looked happy and we’re visibly enjoying their meals.
We ordered chop suey but I don’t think it wasn’t what my husband expected so he ordered orange chicken as well. The flavor was good but it was like an old batch of chicken mixed with a fresh batch so some pieces were over done and some were perfect. Not a deal breaker but could have been better.
I had the chicken curry, very delicious .
The egg drop soup is perfect, it has a lot of veggies and tofu in it.
We like it here best and we went to Liyuens and new garden!
If you don’t get the combo meals the items on the menu come family style. We didn’t mind having extra food we have plenty of kids at home and they enjoyed the food as well.
The prices are not outrageous and all around it was a good experience and I’m glad we live nearby. This is our new spot for sure, thank you for having us

The sweet and sour pork tasted off, maybe slightly under cooked. Perhaps the oil was too old. The fried rice wasn’t too bad. I won’t be back. Wok with Ming in Chandler is better.

First of all service was great. Now for the food. I ordered the lunch special Beef Pepper. Not too bad. I would give it 3/5 stars. I then noticed my wife barely touched her kung pao chicken. I tasted it and it tasted noting like kung pao chicken. I don’t know what it tasted like but lingering fish oil on it? I swear it tasted like raw chicken. Don’t be confused with Wongs of Indian school road. That one is 5 stars. This Wongs we will not be back to.

My husband has been coming here since 2005 with his co workers. He brang me in 2007 and we been coming together ever since. They have watched our family grow over the years of us coming. And they are really great/kind people. The food is amazing dont get fooled by the appearance of the place. Its really good food!

The modest exterior of this restaurant belies the excellence held within. We were looking for a place to get a reasonably priced meal for our family after a long day out. The portions were large and the meals were overwhelmingly delicious. The staff was kind and very helpful. I am overjoyed that we gave this restaurant a try and if you are considering it, I think you should too.

I love their food and still go today. Buyer beware, web prices are false and incorrect. You’ll have to compare for yourself with the paper menu.
I don’t like false advertisement especially when I’m using the website to make a pick up order over the phone.
I noticed a higher charge than what I calculated from the website. I couldn’t figure out what I was charged for as their receipt only shows the total amount. The receipt also asks for a tip, when the Total amount had taxed me $5 on a $35 order.
I love their food, but not their numbers. I’ ll never give up a tip to WONGS ever again. Big fat ZERO
