Best gastropub in the area. The ambiance is absolutely perfect in the Firkin. The lighting, decor and staff makes every visit memorable. They have a great selections of beer and cocktails they offer. Their calamari is delicious and they have a good selection of shareable plates. As for dinner, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I’ve never had a bad meal. It is very obvious the owners put a lot of thought every aspect, from every dish served down to the beautiful artwork on the walls.

Giving it a 3 based on the menu. Service was amazing. Atmosphere great. However I was expecting a more German style menu and it was a little too random. Tacos? The pretzel appetizer was a small pretzel, I thought for sure it would have been larger.

Terrible service and food. Placed an order for takeout. Very simple… 3 burgers cooked medium. 2 out of 3 were very undercooked. The lettuce on all 3 had black rotten ends, and there wasn’t even supposed to be lettuce on any of them. The bacon cheeseburger didn’t have bacon. What a waste of $70! I do not recommend!!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! We stopped in for dinner bc the pictures of the inside had such a fun vibe and it was the best decision to give this place a shot! Staff was fantastic, spicy mango margarita was amazing and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back again bc everything on the menu sounded so good!

Maybe it was just us but for the price, our food was just okay, nothing special. Perhaps we just didn’t order the right things. However service was great and the decor (including the bathroom!!) was a lot of fun. This would probably be a better place for drinks & apps. Fun spot to hang with friends.

This place is one of those special restaurants. Had my 1st date with my girlfriend there 5 years ago. So whenever we go there it’s a great time. Service is always great and the food is outstanding. They have a big menu with something for everyone. Last night, we didn’t have a reservation, but the staff squeezed us in. Super nice and on brand for the level of service at this place. The French onion soup was tasty, and the 3 cheese pretzel was fabulous. The main course was the sausage platter. My favorite meal here, hands down. DO NOT SKIP THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA !!!

We visited Firkin Gastropub last week by accident when the restaurant we were planning on going to closed early. What a wonderful accident as Firkin is wonderful. We arrived around 8pm on Tuesday evening. Their entrance is in the back of the restaurant so you have to walk down an alley that is well lit with outdoor seating fir the restaurant. We were seated immediately and took some time to explore the pretty vast menu.
We ordered the Goat Cheese and Tomato Appetizer ($10), the Plain Pretzel ($9), 2 French Onion Soups ($7) and a small House Salad ($6). Everything was delicious. The Goat Cheese and Tomato appetizer was amazing and served with sliced baguette. Such wonderful full flavor, I think we would return just for this. The Plain Pretzel was big and soft, served with two different mustards for dipping. The French Onion Soup was a bit different tasting that what we are used to. It seemed to have more of a balsamic vinegar taste to it which we enjoyed but know that some may not enjoy as much. The House Salad was more than we could eat so we took it home for lunch the next day and it was tasty then.
The dining room featured a long and fully stocked bar and there were several tables throughout. Kind of an eclectic decor with festive lighting above not too bright but bright enough to read the menu.
Service was perfect, friendly and well done by Nikki B.

Greeted warmly as we entered. We were served by Estelle who did a great job offering options and attending to our table. Delicious food, the bar has excellent draft options and the service was friendly and attentive. We’ll be back soon!
