The had a nice selection of crab, shrimp and muscles. Very very good and fresh. They had a great selection of sushi also. My top three foods were the creamy muscles, creamy shrimp and the sushi and friend sushi. Yum! My boys ages 11 and 6 loved it! Their favorite was the crayfish and the crab.

I have been to a lot of buffets. This is definitely 5/5! It’s petty solid compared to others! They have ice cream that’s super solid!!! If you have kids they have pizza, fries, and kids things!
And if you are vegetarian they have plenty of options! And if you meat lots of options too! Sushi isn’t bad either! The hot and sour was delicious!!
The food quality was not too bad 4/5. I was surprised and for the price this is a great deal!!
I would definitely be coming back as a regular!!

The food served was unfortunately cold and appeared to have been prepared some time prior, which affected the overall quality of the dining experience. Additionally, the service did not meet expectations, characterized by a lack of attentiveness and responsiveness. Terrible!

The food was pretty much cold and looked like it had been sitting all day. Sushi did not seem fresh. Hibachi grill looked good, but nobody was there to cook. Not worth the money but we were hungry.

Overall, its quite a decent place considering its price point. For this kinda money, variety and quality of the food in general exceed my expecteations. Allow me to explain what I took down each star for.
Now, in my opinion, its really hard to make a buffet a 5-star place; since there probably won’t be much excellence and any unexpected experiences in any of them (subject to change, if I see one). As to the rest, I would say if you do your job, the solid 4 is a great result.
Therefore, I was eating my meal and discussing the potential rate with my gf, when the waitress comes and asks me to start passing empty dishes from the end of the table to her hands. It may not sound like something insane, but hear me out: I am sitting with a fork and a knife in my hands, chewing the meal and having a coversation, the lady comes over literally points me at those empty plates in the end of the table to pass them to her. It feels a little disrespectful, someone should explain her, that she must wait until people leave, only then pickup the dishes.
Other than that, the plan was to put 4, since the food is always fresh and legit (I’m here quite frequently) AND the pricing is very very reasonable.

Very sullen greeting, no senior’s price, ladies guard trays once changed from lunch to dinner.
Sign inside door clearly states “$10.99-lunch”, yet I was repeatedly charged $12.99 without so much as a shrug. “Sudden” language barrier prevented me pressing the point! Welcome to America, y’all!!

Amazing buffet in Mundelein! The staff is efficient and genuinely kind. The food is delicious. There is definitely something for everyone, even pizza!

I’ve had a waitress say “no tip?!” to me, what she didn’t see is that I was just going to give her cash instead of card tip. This further refrained me from giving any sort of tip. Food is okay. If you look at the ceiling, the vents are dusty, moldy and black. I was sitting in a booth by the window, and couldn’t help but stare at dead bugs in a huge spider web, everything on the windows looked dirty, the ceiling looks disgusting considering that the same dust and dirt could be falling onto the food.
