Food is sort of tasteless. Guac was not good has a little sour taste to it looks like prepackaged and not freshly made. The lady handed me coin for the bathroom and it had sauce all over it. I’m surprised she didnt notice, or maybe didnt care. The only good thing is proximity to evans tire. Would i go to evans tire again i would bring my own food or go to starbucks instead.

Every time we come to San Diego, Vallarta Express is a must-visit for us! ⭐ Their roll tacos are absolutely amazing — made fresh right there on the premises, and you can truly taste the difference.
I usually get a bit of a stomach ache after eating Mexican food because it can be greasy, but never here. The food at Vallarta Express is always fresh, light, and high quality. The lettuce is crisp, flavorful, and so fresh ✨ — which says a lot about the care they put into their ingredients.
They also offer a great drink selection and have both comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, with TVs in every corner — perfect whether you’re relaxing, chatting, or catching a game.
The staff is incredibly friendly and customer-oriented It’s obvious they truly care about both the quality of their food and the service they provide. And to top it off, their prices are very reasonable ✨

I specified what I wanted, several times, fries, carne, and sour cream. Nothing more, nothing less. Yet they still managed to get my order wrong. Very disappointed.

We eat here usually and the food is usually great, but today was a huge fail. My wife’s chile relleno burrito was very skimpy and my fajitas burrito was super cold. We live 10 min away and it should not have got this cold fast. I called and spoke to the highest person available and told me I can get it remade if I bring it back. I told them we got off work and that’s not an option. He offered to call back in the morning to speak to the manager. Look at the pictures – unacceptable. Seems like they are short staffed and they failed to deliver. 0 stars, horrible management.

so far I’ve only got there two beef tacos because I was at evens tire shop next door, the taco seemed a little bit small but they were perfect! super juicy. they are probably slightly overpriced but the meat was so good I didn’t really care at about $4.75 each it seems like they should have been jumbo tacos, so next time I may get one of those just to scratch my itch for crunchy shell beef tacos but I may spend my money on more like a burrito, I would not want to spend close to $15 just for a few tacos, but like I said the taste was perfect so if I’m going to spend my money it might as well be good and this place was very good, there’s also beer on top so come in here at night and sitting maybe out in the gazebo would be a cool start to a date night or maybe after a movie or something, grossmont Mall is right up the street and there’s a Starbucks next door.

I’m a frequent customer so it saddens me that I have to leave this review, but my recent visit (02/12/26) gave me the worst food poisoning experience of my life. I will no longer be coming back.

Came in and ordered $50 worth of food/burritos. Asked for a chunky salsa. They put 1 in the bag which seemed off to me considering the burrito was pretty big. Got my order and asked
