Been awhile since I’ve been to Mellow Mushroom. I met a friend to catch up and enjoy some wings and a couple beers. Say at the bar, bartender was friendly and attentive. Food came quick and was good and hot, beer was cold. Everything was good

The waitress was a 5 out of 5 to clear up my service rating. The store was not very busy and you can see the kitchen staff preparing your pizza. There were 3-4 young men there and they didn’t appear to be preparing anything, but they must have been because after over an hour of waiting for one pizza it arrived.
It was very good, but we would have never went there if we would have had any idea that the wait was over an hour after placing our order. If they were busy I would have understood and went somewhere else. Good pizza, just wasn’t planning on waiting over an hour.

My husband and I ate at Mellow Mushroom at Somerset, KY. We ordered a medium pizza and 2 waters. TO make a long story short, the waiter Matthew charged another party’s bill on my credit card. I brought to his attention and he assured me it was fixed. I told him I would save my receipt and if it was not fixed I would be back. Well a couple weeks afterward I got my credit card statement with a 70.00 charge on it dated 12/31/2025, the date this occurred. I went back to Mellow Mushroom on 1/17/26 taking my receipt and credit card statement. My bill total should be 28.08 instead of 70.00. Mellow Mushroom has not followed through and solved this problem for me yet. I was told on Saturday a manager would contact me. I gave the new manager all info. She contacted another manager which told her she would call me. I have not received a call back at all. They don’t CARE.

I was greeted at the door. They held the door for me to enter. I was quickly welcomed and seated. Waitress came to greet me and left her name on the napkin. Great service! The one star off was the garlic butter. I was charged $0.99 for and I don’t mind at all but what is this in this cup? I just ignored it but for a $0.99 charge there was literally no butter to it. Everything else was top notch. Everyone seemed very happy to work there, together and to be of assistance. One busser female was the only one not to smile and seemed kind of miserable. May have just had a bad day.

We went here around lunchtime and were sat immediately. The ambience is amazing, the restaurant is so clean, and everyone was so friendly and kind. Our server, Beverly, was perfect. The food was wonderful and the portions huge. This is my first visit to a Mellow Mushroom and I’m really blown away.

When I visited with a group and dined in the restaurant, the pizza and wings were pretty good. When my wife and I recently ordered carry out the pizza was phenomenal. Light fluffy dough and delicious toppings.

The waiter and food were good. However we ordered 3 pizzas around 2pm on a Sunday and it took an hour to receive them. The waiter was apologetic. Not his fault.

Pizza was great! Pretzels bites with beer cheese made from Pabst Blue Ribbon is my go to for an appetizer. (They are free for chamber members btw). Wait was a bit long but not extreme considering everything is made to order. Vibrant atmosphere with plenty of color. (Update) I’ve visited here several times, the last time the pizza was burnt. I guess no place is perfect! They made us another pizza to go, which was better….thank you! The manager was very helpful, sorry I didn’t get her name. Plan on spending $25-$35 for 2 people.

Very chill place! I rather enjoy that the mentality isn’t dated! I like when a company isn’t afraid to allow employees to show tats and piercings. It’s a very dated concept when one is required to “cover up” something that goes hand in hand with the atmosphere!
