Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood. In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather. Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.

I came here with my daughters mother, my daughters aunt and both mothers kids. We definitely had a group. I didn’t know we were coming to Miguel”s Jr. My first experience with Miguel’s goes back over 15 years ago when I visited their Corona location.
Well, lets just say that their was a reason I never found myself eating Miguel’s. The employees were nice, store was busy but a bit dirty at the time. I just could not get over portions versus the prices. Knowing the story of Miguel’s and how they modeled after some other franchise businesses (Bakers)… yeah.
It was interesting to see the faces of everyone as if they were tolerating the food and how much was left over that went into the trash. I never saw this type of boredom and quiet unsatisfactory type of look. Other places everyone gets “to-go” boxes and and appear to have had a happy experience. I didn’t say anything but my observations solidified what I already knew.
No more Miguel’s Jr.
It was very tasty and hot. There hot sauces
We’re good tables we’re clean.
I would come back here again.
