The burrito I’ve been getting for the last 20 years is smaller, still a good size, just a bit smaller. My only complaint. Price went up, portion got smaller, but seems to be the norm for everyone in this economy. Still delicious and worth the price, just a little let down on the downsizing. Rice and beans are still solid. And their tortillas are the best

Great authentic Mexican food! Family owned. First of all – my favorite go to place for menudo. Plenty of meat with the right amount of spice.
The pork chop place is more than plentiful- plan on getting a to go box. The huevos rancheros were excellent. The salsa is the right amount of heat & flavor. Recommend this place is you want real Mexican food!

We love the Tejano Music playing in the background. The volume was at a great level. It wasn’t loud at all, just at a mild setting and was perfect for the type of food we were eating and the restaurant atmosphere. We bought a dozen tortillas to take home with us! Look at these big fluffy tortillas!

Been going here for years. The food is phenomenal. The best sour cream chicken enchiladas on the planet! Great salsa. DO NOT confuse this place with the OTHER Chuy’s on 7th which is a chain that is a step above Taco Bueno. THIS Chuy’s is authentic.

Always know what to expect when visiting Chuy’s; this one, along with the Haltom location are the best ones to go to. The staff here are friendly and the prices are decent. Although I do wish this one offered happy hour.

My husband and I stopped by for breakfast. The complimentary chips & salsa is excellent!! The chips were thick & crispy. The salsa was flavorful with a tickle of heat. I ordered the breakfast burrito with potatoes inside. The sauce on the burrito was lacking in flavor but I was able to make it work with the delicious complimentary salsa. The potatoes tasted like boiled potatoes and weren’t cooked on the skillet to add a nice texture. Our waitress was friendly & attentive.
