An Alton must! We were in town for a fishing tournament and looking for a good dinner before heading home. Searched the area and found this place after seeing Bluff City Outdoors stuff all day. What a cute spot! The interior was huge, but the patio was amazing! Easy access from the road, parking wasn’t terrible. Service was great, our serve was attentive and a manger stopped by each table to chat as well. Host stand staff was so cheerful and welcoming! Food was great from a huge menu- wide variety of options. Drink menus were fantastic as well!

Wifey had the contenders chicken tender platter with french fries. Both were fantastic. Came with three different sauces. I had the beef steak sandwich with peppers and onion petals.

Food has always been great. I’m a big fan of the 3 little pigs and love the homemade chips. Fried mushrooms, wings, crabcakes are all good. I had the hamburger last time. It was delicious! I also like a Bluff City Brown sometimes (Old Bakery Beer co.)

We came in to town to check out the oddities museum and wanted lunch before we went. We sat st the bar, the manager came up as soon as we sat down and told us the specials for lunch and drinks. We ordered the fried banana peppers, AMAZING, the lunch special was a beef sandwich with au jus. It was very flavorful and good portions, the house made chips were great! We also got a club sandwich which was HUGE and so good!!! The sangria was the drink special and it was good. The service was AMAZING they were busy but we still felt like we got personal service. 100% would go again.

Bluff City Grill did a fantastic job of hosting my family’s gathering by providing quick, accurate service and great food. I requested the crab stew and Alfredo over Angel Hair pasta and I’m glad that I asked for a couple of extra veggies to be added because otherwise, it was kinda lacking. Overall, check them out for their spacious hosting options and food.

We made a reservation several days ago for a party of 23 (ages 3 weeks to 60 years, including a handful of toddlers/school-aged kids). They had a huge table ready to go as soon as we walked in, including the 2 high chairs we requested.
Roman was our server and he was amazing! He got every single detail of our complicated orders correct—drinks, food substitutions, individual service requests, etc. Not a single thing had to be fixed. He was appropriately attentive for refills and clearing trash or finished dishes, but didn’t hover or annoy. He even interacted with the kids, treating them like little adults and giving them valuable experience interacting with a server in a dining situation.
The food was fantastic! Ribeyes cooked to perfection, exactly to order and delicious. Pastas were all fantastic. Salads were fantastic. Shrimp was fantastic. Burgers were fantastic. Stingers (chicken strips) were fantastic. Onion petals were fantastic. Cheesesteak was fantastic. No one was disappointed with anything that was ordered.
The only food-related thing to mention is that while the Mac and Cheese is very yummy, it isn’t really a traditional Mac and Cheese, per se, but still did not disappoint.
Overall, we highly recommend Bluff City Grill and specifically appreciated our server, Roman, for a job well for a huge group.

Great food! Wonderful servers. Seriously, the best staff ever! Very attentive and worked extremely well with my food allergy. Waitress made sure I knew everything on the table that I could not have. Everything was very good but the staff was the best.
