Based on the name, we had quite low expectations expecting a bakery that was solid but possibly stuck in the 20th century. Boy were we proven wrong quickly! The pinked out bakery was very cool to see inside as well as donut flavor combos that are as modern as it gets. We got a half dozen and every single donut was delicious until it disappeared in our bellies. Now I see why there are so many locations throughout Illinois. We’d love to come back again when in Illinois. The Chocolate Pocket was my favorite of the options we chose hands down.

They have the best donuts! But I must say I am very disappointed in the “speciality” strawberry glazed donut. There was no glaze, just a strawberry frosted donut. I ordered online, now I know it’s nothing special. Just another way for them to increase the price.

Went in for an online order. Got half the order fairly quick waited another 40 minutes for a bagel and cream cheese toasted. The cream cheese is open. So unless you are only getting donuts and coffee everything else takes way to long. Also watching an employee touch there face just about every 2 minutes because there glasses slide down there face and never wash their hands is gross. Will not order again any time soon.

I like my iced coffee without coffee grounds. My only take away is hold the coffee grounds. The service here is amazing; I’m always greeted with a smile and cheerful attitude. I typically use the app to pre-order on my way to work. I wouldn’t wanna be that person to order a bunch of things or give a complicated order in the drive thru and hold up someone else who orders OTW to work.

Nice coffee and donuts place in Oak brook. It’s at the corner of Butterfield Rd and Midwest avenue.
Seating space is limited but the interior is well done. Lots of pink everywhere.
Donuts and coffee are great.
But there were not too many other food options. I wish they can add some sandwiches or other easy to eat food which doesn’t have to be very sugary.

The best doughnut I have ever had!!! The drink menu is basic but they can customize pretty much anything.

I certainly was eating with my eyes when we first went inside Stan’s donuts esp flavors I haven’t had.
The donuts are pricier than what I would normally buy. “Standards” were $2.30 but we picked mostly “specialty”s @$3.30 and “dough boys best” @$4.30, cruffins @~ $6. Since we were just visiting, thought of it as a treat to bring back home.
Taste-wise, most were on the too-sweet side. 1/2 was ok for me. Except for the biscoff and cruffins which were good. Not enough fillings though. 3.5 for the donuts.
Added points for the ambiance. Like an old school diner with high tops, booths and some more comfy chairs so wouldn’t mind sitting there for a bit.

This was my second time to Stan’s and first time to this location.
The people who work here are super sweet and very helpful. I had a hard time deciding because I was hoping they would have strawberry, but they had run out, so I ordered an old fashioned, while my boyfriend ordered 2 glazed. However, the man behind the counter saw my face light up when he mentioned blueberry cream cheese that tastes like cheesecake, so he threw one in as a gift so I could try it.
I’m sure I’ll love it, like I do most things that taste like cheesecake.
We also ordered a large mocha and a shot of espresso. My boyfriend raves about the mocha (which I tried this time and it’s amazing!) and I love their cappuccinos, but I just had dinner so I wanted the caffeine without the filling milk -hence espresso shot.
This location has a really cool designed interior with lights that remind me of Broadway/old dinner.

I don’t normally write a review right after the experience, but today Isabella O made an impression and at 6AM, 1st customer, drive thru window was still secured shut. I ordered 6 donuts and a reward coffee, she separated the chocolate long john from others to avoid the usual jumbled box of donuts. Thank you very much for going the extra step even before the sun is up, and who knows what time you started today, you will go far in life, keep being Izzy. Thanks again.
