Food was great. Lots to choose from. Service was wonderful. It cost more than I thought it was supposed to because most are saying it was $10-$20 per person and for the two of us to eat the lunch buffet it cost $49.

This was worth our trip to Thomasville.
Came to town for business.
Afterwards we checked out restaurants in the area.
We agree that we will return, whether we have a reason or not. It was 3 1/2 hours away, one way. It was worth it.
The employees are so mindful of their customers.
You can tell that they do their cooking from scratch. Just look at the picture.
Rutabagas, sweet taters, hominy, meatloaf and coleslaw.
There was rice & tomatoes, gizzards and liver, fried fish, fried and baked chicken, black eyed peas and rice, collard, turnip and mustard greens, beets, salad bar, apple and peach cobblers, a variety of cakes and puddings.
I have not had hominy in years due to the fact I’m the only one in the family who likes it. So I made sure to eat my fill.
If we could give more than 5 stars we would.

The food here is amazing! The best home cooked food I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. The Rutabagas are melt in your mouth good! I always get a huge helping of them!!
The service and atmosphere here is lacking if you are not a local. Border line rude. This is the reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

I live an hour away from Seminole Wind restaurant in Thomasville, Georgia. I would travel three hours up hill and in the rain just to get to this place. If you can’t find something you like on their buffet, then I just don’t know what to say to you… The trio of collard, mustard, and turnip greens, and the old fashioned macaroni and cheese just to name a few, are second to none. The fresh vegetables there are soooo good and they remind me of what it’s like to grow up in the south. They have the best fried fish, chicken, etc. Be sure to try their full dessert bar, especially the peach cobbler. Yes, I’m going to go there – “you ain’t had good eatin til you go git you some!!!!”

I had Lima beans,Mac&Cheese,fried chicken wings,cornbread muffin,mashed potatoes with gravey, catfish, rutabagas,strawberry cake,coconut cake,Carmel cake,sweet tea…to sum up my over all experience I did not eat all this… I tried each item for this review.The lima beans where the Mac &Chesse was a big hit in miss the fried chicken wings where ok just the after taste of the grease the cornbread muffin need alil more oil or butter for moisture and maybe alil sugar….the mashed potatoes could have used alil more salt…ALL OF THE CAKES WAS STORE BOUGHT IN TO SWEET ♀️THEY WAS OUT OF ALL SODA PRODUCTS AND THE SWEET TEA WAS NOT SWEET MORE LIKE WATER TEA…..The only good thing that was tasty was the Rutabagas….If you don’t eat pork like I don’t this is not for you they put pork or bacon grease in everything…..

I ordered fried pork chops thru door dash that are only available on Wednesday (thank goodness). My meal arrived on time and still at the correct temperature. My complaint is the pork chops did not look anything close to how they are advertised on the door dash site. They appeared to have been boiled or steamed but definitely not fried. They also had an odor to them like it was stale meat. I deserve a refund in my opinion but will probably only get an AI response from their website. Last time customer.

Its not that the food was bad. It was just bland. Like no flavor at all. My husband pigs out on buffets and no had 1.5 plates. The fried shrimp was the only thing I liked.

We have eaten at many buffets around the country and this one was the worst!!!
Not worth even half the price we paid, which was $53.
Everything on the buffet was cold and dried up. The crab legs were not cooked right so we could not get the crabmeat out!!

Anytime going near Thomasville, Ga always stop in and eat a great meal of good ole southern cooking. Buffet style all you dare to eat. Chicken, fish, meatloaf, bbq pork and all kinds of fresh vegetables and other side dishes. Also salad and desert bar with cakes, pies and cobblers. Very inexpensive but great friendly service.
