Decided to swing by for an early dinner. Ordered bacon cheese fries as an appetizer. Some of the fries weren’t thoroughly cooked but overall flavor was good. I got the fish and chips with coleslaw and fries. My daughter got the sirloin with fries and tater tots. My fish was slightly overcooked but edible. The coleslaw wasnt my cup of tea but I’m pretty picky when it comes to slaw. Daughter’s steak was perfectly medium and she enjoyed her meal. Service was good.

I was looking for a place to have brunch. Based on the reviews and ratings, I chose Mason-Dixon Cafe. I’m glad that I did. I knew I was in the right place when there were 25+ people sitting in cars 15 minutes before they were scheduled to open. The service was great, and the food was great. I loved how the cooks were working together (I had a view of them as I was sitting at the bar). I will repeat it if in the area again!

Generous portions, well prepared dishes. Big Breakfast bowl was HUGE with good gravy and bacon. Garlic Buffalo sandwich had two pounded chicken breast fillets. Steak fries were ok plain, lots of toppings options on the menu that looked fun. Coffee (at dinner time) was a miss.

I took my cousin here to try it for the first time with me. I have lived in VA for a long time and had never visited the mason-Dixon.
It has a cute vibe to it . We liked the decor.
The customer service was pretty welcoming which is a huge factor on whether so decide on returning to a food establishment and support with my $$$.
The food was good. It was what I expected for a diner. We haven’t went back since our first visit but it definitely is a place we would revisit .

A great pit stop for our family road trip. Our waitress Karen was helpful and very accommodating to our large group. Everything was just wonderful and the portions were ample. My bf and his cousin attempted the pancake challenge without much success, but an A for effort. Would definitely return when next in the area for your all day breakfast and comfort food entrees and sandwiches. A little something for every mood. Nice variety of beer and wine too

My visit was great. I will definitely come back. The food was good. The amount of food was good the price. Pancakes were thick and fluffy. Biscuit and gravy was tasty. Kids also loved their food. Thank you for the customer service.

The staff was friendly, food was good, was seated right away. The only thing was the food took a very long time to come out for not being very busy. I’m guessing they might be short staffed but understandable. They had good sweet tea which I’m a stickler about. The silverware was very old, should probably get new ones. Looking forward to trying other stuff on the menu.

There are a few things I liked about this Smack Yo Mamma burger:
#1 The thick strips of bacon
#2 The thick meat patty
#3 The grilled mac
My only complaints are that the meat patty could use more seasoning, I didn’t really taste chipotle mayo, and they should give more than a kid size side of the grilled mac and cheese instead of fries, especially since you pay a little extra for that specific side swap.
GRILLED MAC & CHEESE IS AMAZING
* The fish was cod and fried hard and i would definitely eat it again
DO NOT EAT THE COLDSLAW IT IS HORRIBLE.
Stick with fries and mac and cheese for sides.
