The gentle lighting and beautiful ambiance there are absolutely enchanting, making you feel completely immersed and cared for.
The staff there are always super friendly, you know?
All smiles from the moment you walk in to when they take your order and serve your meal.
The service and cuisine are of impeccable quality.
Highly recommend!!
Several of us got the Porterhouse Tbone which is $59 and none of it was cooked how it was supposed to be; I ordered medium rare and it was more like medium/med well, the steak and mashed potatoes needed a ton of salt, and the steak was tough to cut. Definitely not worth $60. The risotto is to die for though, highly recommend.
Desserts were great, 10/10.
Drinks were good, 8/10.
Steak was 3/10.
We were there 3 hours because of how long everything took.. don’t really recommend for the price.
We had the Captain Town Fish Nuggets (highly recommend and I don’t like fish), Smoked Chicken Wings with House Seasoning (also very good) and the Brussel Sprouts. Followed that with the smoked blueberry burger, which was also fantastic.
Their old fashioneds were also really good. Can’t wait to stop by again when I’m back in town.
Wait time is not too long. In summer they have a good seating outside. The bar area is vibrant and nice. Tried few appetizers popcorn shrimp, their famous fish style nuggets breaded with Quaker Oats and the crab dip.
Would definitely other main course next time I’m in town.
I ordered a $65 porterhouse steak, but unfortunately, it was served without the entire filet portion. If I had wanted just the strip cut, I would have opted for the NY Strip at a lower cost. This oversight regarding the cut of meat was disappointing.
While the steak initially appeared appetizing, it revealed issues upon closer inspection. There were large portions of fat and gristle that detracted from the overall flavor, necessitating the use of the house steak sauce to enhance the taste. Given the price point, this outcome was quite disappointing. I hope that the establishment considers raising the quality of its offerings, as customers rightfully expect better experiences for their investment.
The Poke Bowl is safe (and marked that way on the menu). I was a little nervous about the soy glaze, but the staff reassured me it’s been confirmed gluten free. The lunch entrée itself wasn’t anything to write home about—they used a bit too much sauce—but overall it tasted good.
The gluten-free dessert was a miss for me. It was basically a ufo-shaped crusty meringue with a dollop of spicy blackberry sauce and some refrigerated-tasting whipped cream on top. The whole dish tasted old and was difficult to eat. I personally wouldn’t order it again.
The atmosphere is very cool with plenty of seating and cool views. It was a bit cold but we were near the door. There are no gluten-free beers on the menu, which was disappointing but not unusual.
Overall: decent GF entrée option, but dessert needs work. I didn’t get sick, so they do a good job with allergies.
