Everything about our meal was a pleasant surprise. The French toast with whipped butter was delicious, of course, but I was actually disappointed in my plate when my partner’s omelette arrived – it was HUGE! Should have ordered that. You can choose between two or three eggs, and what came out made me question whether these were chicken eggs or ostrich. I actually asked if that was really only three eggs, to which the server replied: “Magic.” I thought adding cheese to the omelette would mean a few pinches mixed in with the eggs – but it was absolutely drenched in melted cheddar!

Love breakfast here in Lompoc. Hot chocolate is always on point. Portions are great. I am never disappointed in the quality or the service! We sat outside during this visit which was a nice change.

Great food with big portions and lots of choices. I’ve had the garbage pail omelet, biscuits and gravy, and chicken fried steak, and everything was delicious. The servers are friendly, the coffee never runs out, and it feels like the best breakfast spot in town.

It’s a very classic Americana feel for the food and atmosphere; if you enjoy diner food, you will not be disappointed or hungry when you leave. Portion size was more than generous.

The best breakfast I ever had is from here and I’ve had a lot of breakfasts from my home and all over. I take my kids to American Hostage it is a nice little tradition for us.

Okay this little gem is packed with people and good food at a more than reasonable price! We enjoyed the food and service. The host when you walk in is happy and hospitable. Kathleen was also a gem great service! When we’re back on this of town will definitely have breakfast here again.

We were visiting Lompoc and this restaurant was recommended by a local. It is a casual diner atmosphere. The menu had an all day breakfast items. My husband had the Reuben sandwich with French fries. I had the pork chop with eggs, hash brown, and biscuits. The food was hearty. The hash brown was crispy as I requested but a little salty to my liking. Our server was attentive.
