Edit: Sadly I have to edit this review and change my rating due to our experience today. The pancakes were undercooked, the bacon was undercooked, and the grits were swimming in butter. The waitress was apologetic, but whomever the manager was on duty today was very rude and off-putting instead of trying to figure out how to improve the situation. We won’t be back.

First of all, they close at 8p not 9p which makes Google wrong. Ms Selina is such a pleasant server. She makes the time you’re there enjoyable. Now to the food. I ordered one of the burger specials they currently have going on. I was a little disappointed because the burger itself was not seasoned. What helped the burger a little was the avocado and herb sauce that is put on the burger. Sauces should compliment the burger not be used as a seasoning placeholder.

Somehow it my first time ever going to a Perkins. The food and server were great. The person who sat us and eventually cashed us out was rude, inattentive, and seemed to just have a general disrespect towards us. A call to corporate to recommend further training of this dismissive staff member resulted in lost case numbers and repeated broken promises of management reaching out. I don’t appreciate being disrespected, especially when it feels like bigotry is to blame. The third time I called to inquire after never receiving follow up I was told corporate knows about the situation and is not willing to do anything about it. That made me feel the disrespectful person must have been the franchise owner or general manager. Definitely not going back to that or any Perkins. I’ve never experienced this lack of customer service and desire to make it right.

I did not feel welcomed at all. Today is my birthday and all I wanted was to go out and enjoy a late breakfast. As soon as we sit down my server said they were all out of several items then I order turkey ssg and she had to go check to make sure they had some which is a huge red flag. My breakfast took 25 minutes to come out THEN when it came my server had my boyfriends meal in a to go box and said she did not want to put it on a plate for him for fear of it getting cold all the while trying to explain to us why she did not want to put it on a plate and to top it all off she placed her hand on his shoulder for some odd reason I guess to try and comfort him for her mistake which in turn offended my boyfriend as it is unprofessional to touch someone without consent. I can understand why when we drive by this location it always seems to never have customers.

After Sunday church, we decided to eat breakfast at Perkins located at Hayes Winter Springs. The waitress was attentive and friendly. She make sure we got what we need. I just don’t remember her name. Great Customer service. Thank you Perkins . We will be back again.

We went for a family breakfast (my husband, daughters, and granddaughter) and it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. We asked for a large booth — the restaurant was nearly empty (only two other tables) — but the hostess still had to “check.”
Once seated, it took about 15 minutes before anyone greeted us, then another 10 minutes just to get our drinks (all coffee and one chocolate milk). After that, we waited 30 minutes for food with no one checking on us during that time.
When my order finally arrived, my chocolate chip pancakes had no chocolate chips. I politely asked about it, and the waitress sighed when I requested they be remade like the menu picture (chips in the pancakes, not on the side). By the time my three pancakes came back out, the rest of my family had already finished eating.
To top it off, when it came time to pay, the hostess couldn’t even be bothered to get off her personal phone — she just stuck out her hand for payment without a word.
Needless to say, we won’t be back. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Always an issue here, food quality and service is less than mediocre.
Main meal was old and tasted terrible. Got eggs, ham and bacon made to replace the main meal, but the eggs were not cooked fully. Person cashing us out didn’t know how to take the meal I didn’t eat off and charged me for the extra food. Insane
