The restaurant was dirty and they were not even busy. My wife took the food to go and when we got home and opened the order the food was cold and not very good looking. The chicken was a little grey when opened. One order of chicken looked okay, but the other did not. For being a slow cooked process you would expect to see pink on the outer part of tue meat. Our chicken was pretty pink at the bone and surrounding. For the price of the food I would expect a higher quality. The other weird thing was the bones on the chicken were all broken. I understand that long cooking or high temps would cause this, but that is not the case here. It seems the bones were broken on purpose to relieve the blood from the marrow because the chicken is bot fresh it was frozen. Over all i would not recommend this location.

The big Avocado Bowl is delicious as a VEGETARIAN option. Order it with no chicken and extra pinto beans. It’s the best way! The bowl with corn, cabbage, rice, avocado, beans and sour cream (no salsa fresca) are the perfect combo. So delicious and filling for a vegetarian alternative!

One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at an El Pollo Loco. We ordered 16 tacos, which made it take a while and this establishment unfortunately doesn’t have a place to pull in if they need to take other orders while you wait so we asked if we can park on to the right in the next-door neighbor’s parking lot and he said that’s totally fine for this one time I can do that for you guys… I told him it’s kind of a long walk so I’ll go ahead and just park and walk over and grab it and he was like are you sure I can totally do it for you so I just was impressed with the customer service. The food is always amazing here. Taco Tuesday. Need I say more?

Love the chicken. Just something about the spices they use. Nice clean seating area. Beautiful landscaping. Well maintained, lots of flowers. Staff is very helpful, sometimes walking around asking if they can bring you anything. Have always had a good experience here.

Went today for lunch to try the chicken nachos.
The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed speaking with the cashier.
I ordered the fire grilled lock nachos with cilantro creme.
I thought they were good. I wished the chips were warm and the queso was hotter. I really enjoyed the flavor.
The chicken was tender and juicy.
They have a salsa bar with a few different choices that is pretty good. I have eaten here several times and have enjoyed it.

I got a burrito from them on my way home from work today and I only got to eat half of it due to nearly choking on a good size chicken bone that was in the burrito. I won’t be back any time soon.

I love the interior! The service is amazing. Restaurant is very clean in and out. However avoid the lunch rush 12-1, the drive Thur was slammed and inside there was a 5min wait to place your order. Love their food worth the wait

Stopped here for lunch and it was as disappointing as it gets.Ordered a original pollo bowl and got mainly rice and beans.not even 5 little pieces of chicken included in the meal.Asked for flour tortillas with my order instead of chips and all I got was chips.By far one of the worst el pollo locos I’ve been to.The meat on the chicken nachos my wife ordered tasted dated.i tried to give it a shot and see how I felt at the end of the meal but this is it.not very good service and even worse food/portions.To raise the price on meals and skimp you on food is the new style.Do not stop here unless your starving and there is nothing else open.
