I’m not local, so my review is a visitor’s opinion only. But I do know a good burger when I try one. What makes a bad burger, or mass produced burger? Frozen patties. These are not frozen. What makes the buns unique? Nothing, unless they are buttered like these. What makes onion rings greasy? Grease. Not these..:they were properly fried to perfection.

Friendly service with nice smiles. They asked if it was our first time and they explained the menu.
Excellent burger. The patty is home style smashed burger (8oz).
Served with a hot buttered and toasted bun.

Right when you walk in you see a clean legible menu sign as well as the grill cooking up huge burger patties.
It is a very popular joint but no lines and readily found a place to sit. The food was prepared quickly and served with crisp hot lightly battered fries. Delicious!
IMO the buns really make the burger – soft bread yet lightly toasted and same size as the juicy cheese covered patty.
The self-served fountain drink area was easy and they serve Coke products.
Will absolutely return again and highly recommend!
Don’t forget to get a gumball on the way out!

This was perfect for my last lunch before getting on a plane home. Burgers are so great. Made to order, had mine medium rare with grilled onions and jalapeños. Cheese fries are yummy and fresh. Going to try the onion rings next time. Bye Lubbock, see you next time!

We were passing through Lubbock and ordered online based on the great reviews. When we opened our sack with burgers down the road, we were shocked to find just meat and a bun – No condiments, lettuce, tomato, pickles, nothing. Just dry bread and a meat patty.
When my wife when inside to pick up the order she asked about the missing drink, the waitress rudely told her she should have checked at the front and slammed down a cup. Very unprofessional.
Maybe Lubbock locals know what to expect here, but for travelers this was a complete disappointment. Can’t recommend based on the bare-bones food and poor service.

They have the Best Hamburg’s in Lubbock Texas. I’ve only lived here for 1 1/2 years, I’ve tried several different places that serve hamburgers and so far they have outdone all the rest.

Great, great food! The entire staff is super friendly and helpful. Not to mention how clean the place is. The food is to die for. Never had cheese fries before and wow Buns cheese fries are so good. Great ownership as well! Make sure to try this place.
