My friend and I came in at 5pm on a Sunday. Friendly greeting. People were very nice. I got a burrito and my friend got the nachos. They stacked lots of meat on our meals. Great flavor. Overall very pleased with the experience and food.

Food- we ordered the Mexican pizza with chicken and pork enchiladas with rice/beans. It was all tasty, freshly made and well seasoned. Prices were great!

Service was quick and all was behind the counter. It’s a clean up after yourself type of place which was fine with me.

Atmosphere was stellar, you could see there was a lot of thought put into the decor of this restaurant. I really enjoyed the beautiful light fixtures all the artwork, and especially the walls that had little pieces of colorful ceramic plates embedded. I just couldn’t get enough looking around. It was really beautiful.

If we lived closer, I would definitely go back. Price is right!

Pretty tasty Mexican-American food. Nice restaurant and atmosphere. Lots of options with very good portions. Sweet rice isn’t my thing, quite unique. My only complaint is they have nothing spicy how I like…their hottest salsa was a 1-10 on the heat level, tastes great though..

I stopped coming here for a long time, and now I remember why. I paid eighteen dollars for basically a bowl of lettuce. Their menu board said that they charge 2 dollars for steak on the salad. *Steak.* Not ground beef, not birria, but steak. Imagine my sticker shock when I requested the birria and got an extra two dollar charge! Yes, I understand there is cow meat in birria, but the menu said steak and not all types of beef. Their employees also did not give out any warning about the beef upcharge. The upcharge was for about 4 oz of meat. I honestly felt ripped off. For the price you are paying, I don’t think it’s worth it. It’s also very Americanized, it’s not real Mexican food and caters to the American palate.

New owner doesn’t know what he is doing. Walks around behind counter getting in the way. Open beverage container that could spill into food. Took coat off in his car outside, put apron on and came inside without washing hands no gloves and putting his bare hands in the food. Used to be a great restaurant but I will never go back there with the couple of latest observations during our visits.

The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because they stopped serving breakfast. This was the best breakfast burrito in the entire pdx region. It was like chipotle where you go through the line and tell them what you want on it. What a shame it’s not available anymore. I can’t speak to the current menu as the breakfast was the only reason I would go there from Wilsonville…yeah it was that good. Please bring it back!

I’ve been going here for years… They have new owners. Seems pretty good. They don’t have alcohol anymore like beer. They have a Monday through Friday special for $11.50. On Mondays, there’s a burrito bowl with a drink. It’s really filling in. It’s a very goodflavor.

Their front door is dangerously heavy and the recent change in weather made it suddenly slam on my finger as I went to open it. It cracked the nail and immediately started bleeding.
I got ahold of the owner, and he said “I don’t want to lose your business, so I’m going to make this right. There will be an envelope at the store tomorrow with your name on it.” The next day, there was nothing. The next day, nothing again. I again message him, and he replies, ‘Oh sorry. I’ve been busy, but I got it on me. Hope you enjoy!’ And he sends me a picture of $25 in food coupons for his restaurant.
Insulted, I tell him I’m going to have to get a lawyer if he can’t make this right. I then have a back and forth with him over the phone trying to explain the damages this has caused me and would cause both of us if I had to push a lawsuit. He seemed rather indifferent to me, but continuously pushed his pain as a small business, asking me “what is it you even want?” He negotiated me down to $300 and $20 in food coupons to his restaurant, which I only agreed to because the injury hadn’t fractured any bones.
I later find out that this man is regularly yelling at Home Depot employees about the folks in the parking lot selling tamales, demanding Home Depot get them arrested. I told his workers this when I collected the envelope, and they all looked heart-broken. The owner still hasn’t fixed the door and he told me he doesn’t actually have insurance to cover injuries to customers, nor plans to get any.
I love the workers here, and the food is good, too, but I cannot come back until there is a change in ownership.

Food was so boring and flavorless considering the mesquite and or smoky scent in the air. Also, nothing was grilled. My shrimp for the burrito should have been tossed on the grill but went in a teflon pan!? The grilled onions were not sautéed enough and were crunchy. The menu has minimal meats listed – chicken, shrimp and beef only. No pork or carnitas on the menu, 6 or 7 different meats but again, none listed on the menu screens.
Added sour cream to my burrito and 1 large dollop was placed directly in the center so that later I can a nice globular mouthful, ew. Staff assumes what to put on the burrito and you have to tell them no, or please add this…. $55 for 2 burritos and 1 nacho plus water. Nope. Lackluster, boring, bland. Atmosphere top notch. Food not worthy.

Ordered on DoorDash and was quite underwhelmed. It’s clear that they were going for a Baja Fresh knock off but they missed the mark completely! Paid $40 for (2) meals, one was a kids meal.

The kids meal was missing items and I was told it was bland. The bean and cheese burrito was a light layer of beans and cheese that was not fully melted (picture included). They forgot the side of rice and chips and salsa.

The pineapple shrimp salad was good, which is why it’s a 2 star and not a 1 star. However the bag of what I’m assuming is supposed to be chips that came with it was really oily and without flavor (besides oil).

They didn’t provide any napkins or utensils.

With that all being said I wouldn’t return again that’s for sure…
