Although the complimentary salsa wasn’t to die for, I’ll have to say, the Chile Rellenos were! They were probably the best tasting one’s I’ve ever had. We all got a different combination plate and everyone enjoyed them. It was affordable and the service was good. Nice atmosphere as well. My daughters were so happy that they found a Mexican restaurant that I really liked!

My daughter and I visited for valentine’s day lunch, the place was not busy, service was prompt and the food was absolutely EXCELLENT. My daughter mentioned it was the best quesadilla she had EVER eaten! Will absolutely be back. We have ordered from here before but never eaten in. Used Uber to deliver. I ordered birria tacos. I didn’t question how many were in it I figured it would be one serving for $14.00. there were three small corn tortilla tacos. The green salsa was tasteless. The other person in my world wanted to try some new Mexican food. I wanted senior Ric’s. Luckily he paid for it and next time I’m ordering from senior ric’s.

Let me just say the waitress was amazing. But we will never be back. We started with the corn nuggets which actually were decent. Unfortunately that’s not enough of a reason for us to return. We didn’t enjoy the salsas, although the concept of a trio of salsas is a great idea. We shared the shrimp and chicken fajitas. The menu talks about spices on the meat for the fajitas but these were the blandest fajitas I have ever tasted. We kept trying to add salsas and things to them but they were just so flavorless. We couldn’t even finish it. The chicken tasted boiled and shrimp tasted odd. The chips were good. Overall this just didn’t feel like a Mexican restaurant as much as a very Americanized style of food.

This is a nice neighborhood restaurant. This was the first time back since Covid. The restaurant was pretty full. I noticed a lot of people coming in for pick up orders. There wasn’t any wait. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food is good and there’s plenty of it! You also get chips and 3 types of salsa at each table!

Celebrated my husband’s SURPRISE 60th Birthday party at Casa Calliente. What a great location. Perfect setting!!! The room was just right for 20ish people. The food was fantastic. The service was superior. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thanks so much for helping me give my husband a wonderful 60th Birthday!!!

This was the first time we visited Casa Caliente, the restaurant was very clean and inviting. The service was great, fast and friendly. The food looked so good but it was bland. Don’t ask me how the green chili was, I didn’t find any on my plate. I was disappointed.
Edit- Not sure what the owner response even means. Of course I ordered it. I gave a kind review, and commented that the food would be something you would find in our nursing home. I’m sorry if that offends the owner.

A friend and I were trying to find a place halfway between us to meet for mexican for dinner and we randomly picked Casa Caliente. Fun funky decor, good selection of various margaritas and drinks. (I had the Diva Margarita). The menu is a good sized and has a nice variety – and it was refreshing to see so many salad options other than just a classic taco salad.
We started with the chips and queso; the queso came out nearly boiling and was super tasty.
I had the birra taco special with black beans and rice. The tacos were delicious! My friend had the enchilada which she said was good, but neither of us liked the super bland refried beans.
We ate so much of the chips and queso that we did not have room to try one of many dessert options.

First time we have been here. Great food and service. I’m pretty sure there was little to no alcohol in my drink, but it still tasted good. I would highly recommend this place and definitely try the sopapillas!!!
