Third time around visiting Frontera and I finally got to leave them a review.
Service has been always great! Today I had the pleasure to be helped by Silvia. Extremely nice lady, checked on our table a few times to make sure we were okay, enjoying our food, and didn’t need anything.
Today we ordered the Cheff’s special Birria tacos, and a flan. It was delicious!!!
Juicy, fresh, tender, and very well seasoned.
I’ve also had their quesadillas and churros and THEY DO NOT DISAPPOINT.
I would definitely recommend this place to looking for tasty Mexican food and a nice ambience.
We also got the pleasure of hearing a super kind Mariachi the other day we visited and today as well! I loved hearing a couple songs played live as we were just having a perfect time sitting outside.
Thank you Silvia for being super kind, you definitely made the visit more pleasant.

Once again visiting Frontera. This time with Magdalena taking care of us! She was amazing! Food was so tasty I didn’t get to take a pic, but this time I didn’t forget to take a picture of the dessert. Had the tres leches and it was as tasty as the ones we had before (flan and churros). So far my favorite!

Stopped on the way from Wurtsboro. I had dinner at the bar. My blue moon Rita was perfect and the food was delicious. Loved that they had a Mariachi band. The bartender was attentive and topnotch. Highly recommend this establishment.

Decided to have dinner here last night. Though the food was delicious, the service was unacceptably poor. There were no more than 5 tables, and there were 3 servers. Not sure why our table rarely was checked on, or why we had to ask the busser to ask our server for refills. We waited a good 30 minutes for tacos and a quesadilla, which was delicious. However, due to the customer service I’m not sure if I’d come back here.

A few months ago, while seated near the bar, I watched my server wipe rice off a table with her bare hands and then immediately grab an unwrapped straw from a jar on the bar and place it in my drink without washing her hands. I let it go at the time.
Unfortunately, I had a similar experience today. I watched my server wipe sweat from his head and then use that same hand to grab an unwrapped straw and put it in my drink. While holding my drink, he also stopped to talk with another server who was coughing repeatedly during a takeout issue. There was no attempt to step away or cover her mouth properly, and he held my drink in front of her
If proper hygiene isn’t being followed where customers can clearly see it, it makes me concerned about what may be happening in the kitchen. Basic precautions like washing hands when soiled, covering coughs, and using wrapped straws seem like simple..
I hope management takes this seriously and reviews their sanitation practices, and since yoir servers dont wash hands then buy wrapped straws.

Dang this place is so good. Order the margarita, its worth every cent. Theyre not stingy at all and are very fast with everything!! Salsa was authentic and FRESH. 10000 out of 10. Customer service was consistent and friendly. I appreciate the older staff rather than millennial. Food came out fast too as a party of 5. Everything was hot and so are the plates so your food doesnt get cold fast either. They don’t rush you out for tables either. We were there for 2 hours.

Complementary chips and salsa were amazing! I ordered the fresh guacamole which they make right in front of you and it was bomb. The size portion of these plates are definitely shareable so try not to eat all the chips before you get too full to eat your entrée. Drinks were okay, but the customer service was amazing.. they were so friendly, service was fast, place had a nice vibe, good music and I love how they take Apple Pay. I would definitely recommend for you to give them a try!
